Hi David. I found you about the time Helene was forming and you did a great job for both Helene and Milton. I’m located in Florida. I’m pretty sure I heard or read that you are on spectrum and my children are. I really enjoy watching you because you remind me so much of my oldest still home. I saw you written post about haters and I just want to let my mom side come out. My daughter can be hurt by people accusing her of things that she isn’t trying to do and get discouraged which is what it sounds like has happened with you. So let me please say to you what I say to her. As hard as it may be to not be hurt or discouraged by some people it is important to remember you will not be everyone’s cup of tea but also know you will be for others. Focus on those who appreciate you. Enjoy your passion and let those who don’t enjoy it with you just say what they say. Hey their comments only boost you and make you easier to find for those that will enjoy watching you. Also just so you know. You aren’t really saying anything that others aren’t also saying. This is clearly a passion for you so you show your emotions about what you are seeing and that’s ok. Sometimes you will be right and sometimes you will be wrong just as every other weather pertain. Keep posting and learning and growing because I for one and enjoying watching you.
Hello David. Yea, most models are trending down on this system, BUT, like you said, still have to watch it. From the previous hurricanes and if I remember right, most models did the "flip" on those systems,except 1. Just have to keep on top of it David. You do a great job. Be waiting for your next update.
It's October 15th. Joe's Stone Crab is open for business. No more hurricanes for Florida. I saw one cool front come once at midnight the morning of 10/15. It's over.
We can use some, though not all, of that potential tropical storm rain here in the upper Midwest. Please send some of it our way if it becomes reality.
No worries here in Florida it's not coming here hurricane season is winding down for Florida in my opinion lots of cold fronts on the way some mid-50s are forecasted for Central Florida tomorrow that's going to really start cooling off that Gulf of Mexico water

Some parts of Tampa is pretty good, but the southern portion of Tampa where my little sister lives is pretty rough
I remember watching a different forecaster 1 week before Milton made landfall, the guy was saying it has the potential to be a mild tropical storm, *maybe* a Cat 1 Hurricane. Lo and behold it transformed into a Cat 5 Hurricane within a few days. I find Meteorology interesting, but I think meteorologists need to be more honest, in that they really have no idea where a storm is gonna hit until the last 24-48 hours. The tracks of Ian and Milton were both adjusted hundreds of miles with the last 48 hours before landfall.
@@Nardage By Honest, I mean they should just say "We dont know where its gonna hit yet" For the record, I am not talking about David, I think he presents the information in a more realistic and neutral fashion than most people.
