    Lyrics:
He used to call me DN
    That stood for deadly nightshade
'Cause I was filled with poison
But blessed with beauty and rage
    Jim told me that
He hit me and it felt like a kiss
    Jim brought me back
Reminded me of when we were kids
    With his ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    I can hear sirens, sirens
He hit me and it felt like a kiss
    I can hear violins, violins
Give me all of that ultraviolence
He used to call me poison
    Like I was poison ivy
    I could've died right then
'Cause he was right beside me
    Jim raised me up
He hurt me but it felt like true love
    Jim taught me that
    Loving him was never enough
    With his ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    I can hear sirens, sirens
He hit me and it felt like a kiss
    I can hear violins, violins
Give me all of that ultraviolence
We can go back to New York
    Loving you was really hard
We could go back to Woodstock
Where they don't know who we are
    Heaven is on earth
I will do anything for you, babe
    Blessed is this union
Crying tears of gold, like lemonade
I love you the first time
I love you the last time
Yo soy la princesa, comprende mis white lines
    'Cause I'm your jazz singer
    And you're my cult leader
    I love you forever
    I love you forever
    With his ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    Ultraviolence
    I can hear sirens, sirens
He hit me and it felt like a kiss
    I can hear violins, violins
Give me all of that ultraviolence

Fun fact: in the book/screenplay - in the dancing scene Tom and Francis is supposed to kiss, there is supposed to be a snugle scene in bed, and the ending is supposed to be Tom killing Francis. And also in the dancing scene Tom is wearing a Red silk dress? from what i remember.

im still curious of what will happend if tom stayed. like is he really gonna get killed by francis? is the relationship will stay toxic af? will francis really kill the mother? does francis changed? my delusional self can't handle this shit bruhh.

Francis has a violent nature and Tom was the only person he could be himself with. He knew that so he got codepent to Tom to an extent that he was changing so he could keep him. He stripped himself from his ego for Tom. If Tom asked for anything (besides leaving), Francis would have granted it. But Tom finally got smart and realized it wasn't worth the risk so he left (in the movie). There's two possibilities: Francis could get better to keep him (don't think he'll ever stop being a violent person though) or his temper would get the best of him and kill Tom someday. It could be both. That's one of the stories that the characters are too complex to wonder what could've been because anything could happen. I guess that's why I'm so obsessed with Tom At The Farm. Both play and movie are so good.

@@anniephunqi The reason why I love this movie or story is that usually this kind of queer story is neither going to be toxic through and through nor his going to magically change and stuff, but in Tom at the Farm, the subtle "changed" is really fcks me up, like in the final scene where Francis is trying to find Tom in the woods and his constant pleading for Tom to come back even though he doesn't know if even Tom will hear it, it genuinely fcks me up, like I don't know if he's being honest or just flat out lying. I got a theory about why Francis fucks that girl, lol. Well, it's basically him checking if he's gay like his brother, and by the end, he realizes that he's really gay. This is also the reason the ending is rilling me up to the tea. i really wish i could have seen the play but im in another country and its crazy how i also have my own toxic relationship with this movie. lol
