Naudia the king yes it is a start! You can code at any age! And your age has advantages. Stop the hate on these games! If you think they’re bad, try the coding. Also, you only really successfully completed if you didn’t look at the coding because these people didn’t know that would do all that stuff but they tested it out and it worked
@@kubagrotowski the first one is a basic platformer script with moving objects set to appear at random times. Easily made in under an hour. The second one is just a clever trick with rotation with very basic graphics which simply involves pushing forces and basic sprite on sprite interaction, would take about 2 hours to make. Third one is literally a basic platformer engine with basic trigonometric functions to control movement, maybe an hour or two at most to design all the levels. Fourth one is literally the most generic platformer ever and wouldn’t take more than an hour to set up. Fifth is a rotating triangle with more triangles moving towards it, decent visuals and a fake loading screen for some reason though so maybe 1.5 hours. 6th one a fairly detailed but generic platformer, that one about 10 hours. 7th is actually good, probably 15-30 hours to make. 8th is a bunch of moving sprites with basic interactions, maybe half an hour? 9th is decent, probably about 30 hours. 10th is a generic scrolling platformer, maybe 10-15 hours max?
The biggest project I've done is Pong for 2 players, I've done something similar to Duck Hunt too but still nothing similar to this. These are the things that make me want to start make games with engines like Unity

For the people saying these games are trash: Scratch is basically JavaScript, but simplified to the point that everyone can use it. I have tried JavaScript before and it is basically the same thing, it's just slightly more confusing because of how it's layed out. Some of these game aren't made to cater to you, and are just kids who want to have a starting ground for a dream job and who also want feedback. Don't say it sucks unless you can give them something to improve on.
I play scratch at school and we made a game where there’s a cat and a mouse and the cat chases the mouse and if it gets the mouse then it dies. But of course it comes back alive
Spaceship 2 looks fun. But I have more respect for games that have more detail. Good graphics are not needed, because I know how hard it can be to make good graphics. But for Spaceship 2 all you have to do is RNG for attacking spaceships, make controlled spaceship point towards mouse pointer and fire a ball when a button is clicked, and RNG(?) for the space-coming-at-your-face thing.
im trying to make a scrolling game currently dropped the whole game to figure out the scrolling part im going to learn the piano, saxophone, and guitar by the time i figure out how to get it to work
The game night town the script of the platformer is funky because it didnt have run without screen refresh, if that is not used then the platformer will just look like hes bouncing perpetually on the ground
Scratch can be the best engine, but only for smaller games. For larger games, the huge mush of scripts you have is difficult to work with, and scratch isn’t built to render 3D games very well. It’s also limited to 30fps.
