Wonderful Work as always ! One of my neighbours in Iraq used to fly this variant of the Mig 25 and we keep talking about his missions . well done and Thank you !
You did a beautiful job on this kit for all its fit problems! I really admire the way you build. The ICM kit got great reviews, but it is not fun to assemble. I had an easier time with the old Condor MiG-25P! I followed the ICM instructions meticulously when I built my RF, and I could not get the aft fuselage walls to align properly with the wheel wells in place. The nose/cockpit plug created a nasty gap with the fuselage belly plate, and the whole nose dipped down too much. I bought more of these in different versions, and the next time I'll know where to change the assembly sequence and what to shim. Thanks for giving me inspiration.
@@marcogarbin2977The ICM kit is better detailed and molded but more complicated, so I checked off each step and let sub-assemblies dry. Then the sub-assemblies don't fit! The joint where the nose/cockpit joins the main fuselage doesn't reach the mating ridge on the fuselage floor. ICM makes you install wheel wells and wheel legs before the fuselage sides. Then the fuselage sides don't fit the fuselage bottom! I think I know what to do better on the next ICM kit, but the Condor kit was simpler to assemble, even with sanding and filling.
I have built 3 4 icm kits so far and on every one of them I had the same problems with the front and back fuselage fit.It is not due to the instruction but due to the kit engeneering.
*The MiG-25 as the F-14 Tomcat is mythical, a beast among other beast! Very good build Doctor!*
Oh yes I agreemI love both of them.
Lovely result again Doc! 👏🏻👍🏻👌🏻
Even in 1/72, you captured the sheer presence of the Foxbat, which is the size of a small country in real life......

Is the instructions sequence wrong? I am having many issues on Condor. Is ICM so difficult?.

Magnificent assembling. Which colors did you use on internal nozzles?
Thanks :) I just used the ak extreme metal dark aluminium and toned it with tamiya smoke
Excellent build. Quite a lot of sanding in there. Great end result nonetheless.
