I miss having full episodes of dirt every day an roadkill
ikr they pretty much ruined it
@@Bapp75 they sure did
Sad this went away! Made me inspired to get outside and tinker...
I think it's still around you just have to subscribe to the Motor Trend channel on pay to watch it.
Dirt every day didn't go anywhere. It's changed a little and become more cooperate but still Fred and Dave doing silly stuff. DED alone is worth the subscription cost to motor trend.
I'm not going to pay for what I used to get for free
@@00coyote80 that’s the spirit.
I had a payed subscribtion but motortrend does'nt like my money anymore since i live in europe
Anyone else miss having full episodes of dirt everyday on UA-cam?☹
Nup. Fuckem haha
Why did it go away?
@@Captain-Awesome motortrend made their own channel website and moved it all over there but you have to pay to be a member and watch them. It started on here and amassed a large following then they gone!
Yes. These two were always a lot of fun to watch.
thay ruined it
I love Dirt Every Day. I liked the episodes with the build along with them. There is something satisfying about Dave's look of despair 3 days into a 2 day build.
These are my favorite type of UA-cam videos. Long live yj, zj, xjs and tjs
Miss being able to watch these. Every show is a pay to stream now. If I wanted all the shows I like it would be like 500 bucks a month
I know its not for everyone but I think I pay about $90(AUD) a year and that gives me everything. I use it more than netflix so more value in my eyes/
@@matthewwijsma9978 90 a year for what?
@@theirishaxe9405 everything.. except sometimes i get region blocked on some car racing events... but i rarely want to watch that anyway.
@@matthewwijsma9978 I see👍 I have Amazon prime video plus Netflix and Hulu and then have to have spectrum for internet and local cable and sports and news so that's like 200 bucks a month just right there.
@@theirishaxe9405 Yeah subscription services get out of hand quick. I have limited it to Netflix, UA-cam Premium, RT and MotorTrend.
Thank you so much!!!! Just what I needed !!!! I LOVE MY 4 WHEEL & JEEP FAMILY!!!! SO MUCH FUN!!!!!
We just did an 8500 mile 2 month overlanding trip in our 99 XJ , offroad from Florida to Texas and up to Wyoming; through the mountains and national forests, with stops in the Parks and a week in Moab....we lived full time out of the Jeep in the back country... The guys talking about being able to fix your vehicle in the field are spot on, and one of the cool things about the XJ is that not only is it fairly easy to work on, spare parts are cheap enough to pack them and bring them along....ironically, the one bolt- on part we didn't pack ( power steering pump) was the only part that failed ( $70 , fixed in about an hour and a half in an O,Reillys parking lot in Alamogordo, NM)..... The XJ' s are great vehicles.
For that '73 CJ clutch, get the hydraulic master/slave for an '86 Ford (3/4, 1 ton). They had a T-18 hydraulic setup witch matches up pretty well (total throwout) to the Jeeps. Better than the Jeep 4 cyl, which technically doesn't have enough throwout.
The power of Jeep
If nothing else this should teach you to never go alone and know how to fix your truck on the trail.
Correct!
PSA- also a couple extra universals atleast from my experiences lol. When i go on a all day trail ride I usually end up breaking atleast one universal joint before the day is over lol.
@@wvbigboy94gaming90 yes this totally. I’ve broken a rear universal and had to use a socket and a 2 5/16 hitch ball to beat out a front and put it in the rear. In the snow. Being wet and cold then smashing your fingers really sucks. Proper tools and extra parts would have been amazing.
the most manliest show is this masterpiece
The fact that the xj caught on fire, and still ran afterwards is fekken amazing.
Coolest couple in the offroad world!!!
Welcome back
Totally forgot about this episode along with roadkill! They were pretty cool to watch
That guys an animal for tightening a ring gear down like that lol
this is awesome. I live in Spokane Washington and am building a 1970 4x4 gmc short box service truck to handle the winters and trails. (:
I had a 2001 XJ sport. Never should've got rid of it.
Love the video. Still not paying to watch
Cheap jeeps climbing the dirt heap...meep meep 😂
Awesome informational educational video experience Y'alls God Bless Ya 🙏
Very cool video idea. Well done
The engine in that Jeep truck sounds like a mini bike lol
The dooms day keep thing is pretty cool
🙆Wow Very very Beautiful Jeep , 💚❤️💜I liked
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! I LOVE MY HOT ROD FAMILY!!!
That thing u drive at the end is dope what ever it is THING
I suggested this on @TheFastLaneTruck and got called an idiot child. Thanks for being real Motorheads and building something so true and wonderful
@Jimmy Hoffa ...oof. yeah, that is definitely an unrecoverable statement
Miss these shows...
Think they should of had a 4th XJ. RWD with axles/gears, lift and bumpers and winch. It likely would of been in the running?
You crack me up
Dave and Fred are funny boys!
That was a lit if fun to watch
Man, how can I get my hands on the 15 color extendo flatbed Jeep so I can run the Oregon Gambler?
Somewhere there’s a teenager or 40 year old that would give body parts to have one those jeeps .
Yeah it’s too bad they cut up such clean ones
@@dmoney6633 HaHa nice one. But when my son was younger he and friends wished they could jeeps like that especially here in the rust belt. And young old like them because they’re easy to work on.
@@edwardsabo8368 I’ve got a pretty clean xj but I’ve had rusty ones, living in Michigan and when no one washes their vehicles kills them here. Jeeps are the best vehicle to learn how to work on stuff on since they are so simple.
Me
I rebadged my 1995 2dr/2wd/5spd/4.0 XJ Jeap, after I rattle canned it Rustoleum metallic blue, because I bought it rust-free for $500 with 232k on the clock in 2016.
Anybody else miss the dirt everyday "road" side assistance/mechanicing episodes?
"Caught on fire? Broke down? Some Dirt, duck tape, and zip ties, and shell be brand new in no time"
Nice
@@augustinevictor1069 what?!
Too much fun
bring back Dirt Every Day!!!!
Cheap jeep..i wish there waz a cheap jeep that looked like that in NY..I gotta 96' 2dr xj in storage..workin on it. The open diffs are ok but lockers would be cool for mine...3.55-1 gears are fine for most stuff..4 liter is plennty of power if it aint too tired..
That episode with the red chevy truck almost hurt a bit.. that was pretty straight before they started smashing it off trees and rocks. The stretched jeep is something to see though. Not sure if I like it or am horrified by it 😂
Must have been before square body prices went through the roof - yeah I know smashing body parts is part of off road life, but *cringe*
@@leotam3372 at least find one that's already hammered! I know squarebody trucks of all domestic makes have gone through the roof, I was looking at an 86 Ford the other day, he wants 25k for it
When does motor trend just start posting videos straight to UA-cam?
They try to post just enough freebies to get you to buy a subscription.
For that you will have to travel back in time
I have a 94 check sitting on 31x10.5R15 patagonias and the 5.2 and she gets it and jUst eats through mud
What trail is the first shoot out?
They aren't even trying on motortrend now....
"cheap" jeep. you're hilarious
Bring em back to YT. The motortrend website is junk!
Alwayz rox
And at the end of this.. we’ll take all these good bits and combine them together into the Jeep the whole team really wanted..
Sick engine!
As in dying...
👍
its funny how this cheap jeep cost 25grand in my country, it’s collectible items here

Wasn’t this uploaded like 2 years ago
Still feel dumped
SOOOOOO The first on on fire gets the extinguisher??🤦🏻♀️Would an electric fan with a kill switch be better than a fan spraying water? Another dirt rule: if it came with 35s cram in 40s!! Strange noises from the wheel wells!!🤦🏻♀️
Motor trend. You failed us all!! I was subscribed on your app. But literally had only 30% of the shows!?!?!?!? What's up with you guys nowdays.
RIP Dirt Every Day
Did anyone think the red jeep WASN'T gonna work the best?
Let’s not say those things

I see motor trend has still ruined dirt every day and you can't watch all the old videos, what garbage...
The show was way better without dave

Day 54 of becoming the most subscribed UA-cam channel with zero video’s so I can live the life. 💪🏼🙎🏼♂️🤙🏼.
hahahahhahaa NOT GONNA HAPPEN
Totally how that works..no one should have to put in work and dedication to achieve their dreams. It should just be handed out for nothing! ✌️
