Datflys - Preserving The Present For The Future - Just a fan in the crowd
Steve Morse - My all-time favorite guitarist! So melodic, so creative, so prolific! Met him ages ago at a music store in Wheaton, MD. He was gracious and respectful to all his fans. He was a pleasure to meet. Only wish that I could have met Dave LaRue.
Steve is nearly 70 years old. Been a big fan for years. Steve looks to be in amazing physical shape. He looks like he could be a body builder. 🙂
when you hear that, you know how much Steve Morse is in the Deep Purple albums, great musician👌😎
I had no intention of filming Steve this night but when the master is 2' in front, I just had to pull out the point & shoot & document it! I did not film the Dregs. What a fantastic night of music!
The sound is pretty good datflys! Steve is not only a great well rounded guitarist, he;s a really great person. Watch his interview with Rick Beato, its fantastic and his opening piece he plays with backing tracks is just incredible.
well i am glad you did and up post it here thank you for that not feeling any touring love that brings Steve back down under .. even my love of a band wont tour here 11 years since the last purps down here
Thanks for sharing 🙂discovering Steve's music many years ago was life changing, just an awesome guitarplayer and composer
Vista Grande what an epic tune. Very melodic and anthemic song. One of his best with the SMB.
Just to see him play after the hand problems is like heaven. and he is a composer like no one else. The dregs stuff was something no guitar "hero" could do as a songwriter

Like that Sound
Oh my !!
It doesn't get much better than this. The GOAT \o/
Thanks for posting video steve morse 🎉❤
Vista Grande has to be one THE great rock instrumentals of all time. It's got everything you could want in terms of depth, variety and subtlety. A rock star with none of the pretense in him.
steve morse back ? still no tatoes ? still heavely music,I like thad man !
Damn-my lucky day to have found this-many thanks!! 🔥
Thank you so much!
merci pour la video vue 3 FOIS en concert avec deep purple vive le rock
EXCEPTIONAL, THANKS.
Guitar God ! Eargasm
Спасибо.
Люблю смотреть как Морс играет-ничего лишнего
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Dave la rue the best bassist in rock
I've been able to play this guy now for now since 1986
👍🤘🤘
The mix sounds great on my iPad speakers! I can hear everything clearly. Usually live videos sound bassy / muddy / under water…
Thank you for posting since I missed it.😊
3rd song is Highland Wedding.
When I heard Jeff Beck was gone I instantly thought there still is one old school man standing
Did u get the dregs set please tell me u did!
Hey all just putting it out there after seeing him doing it live down under with the peoples a few meet and greets spending time with janie (RIP) lovely lady now, does a vocalist fit now? in your time line , i know ,been there, seen that .spoken to you many times held and played no 1 sort of feeling the vocal fit ,,, just asking and any plans now to tour and come see us down under ?
❤
Nice to hear every not then he plays.that makes the diffrent between a guitarist and master guitar player
👽
Dregs too???
I find his guitar configuration very confusing, and I suspect Ernie does as well.
The tone ,the off beat rhythms, just jumping from one key to another ...makes me nauseous .and I am not trying to be mean . Great skills . It's like all over the place . The other guitar player that has the same effect on me is Pat Metheny . So there I said it . But more power to them . But it's like I can't listen to it . I want to and I try .
Ни в DP ничего не играл, ни здесь...
There is no rhyme or reason .Just like licks . So hate me . After playing for 60 years . And playing 7 different instruments . More power to ya Steve .
That's cuz you don't understand music why don't you listen to something like deep purple or something
His music and the Deep Purple songs are far from each other . Even though he played in the band . He has the skills to do it but his thing is his thing .And Deep Purple is another .
