I try that on 5700xt,no difference at all for all maps besides Laguna seca is only playable map for me My specs are 5600x 5700xt 32gb of ram Ssd I tried even 720p, results are the same, unplayable... Hope newer patches will fix this...
@@PcManiac2022 Some people have claimed that you have to reboot your PC for the changes to take effect. I have already set it to high from the start so I have no idea if it actually works.
Hi, didn't work for me, made stuttering worse then crashed and the new admin shortcut vanished and so did the evo exe file so game no longer worked? Had to reinstall and start again?
Mate you saved my live! Before the fix i had around 25-30fps with 10-20Ai bots in race mode, and around 70-80FPS on single session on ultra settings, now i have 90-100FPS on Ultra settings with 22Ai bots and 130-150FPS on High preset on 3440x1440, overall 5x - 6x better results, thank you once again mate!
Thanks man, did what you suggested and my stutters is almost gone, with just a few hitches here and there when changing cameras or at the start of races. My rig is a pretty aged R5 3600 + 2070 Super + 16gb ram and I can run it on Medium preset. I also updated the DLSS dll to the latest "DLSS 4" v310.1 with Preset J, and uses Quality in game. I run all my games with RTSS enabled and when AC Evo stutters neither my GPU or my CPU is stressed, and the game is installed on an SSD, so its clearly an indication that the game is loading or caching something that causes that stutter. Just had a 15 minutes race at Suzuka with Lotus Emira in a 10 car grid and it's a good experience barring the minor stutters here and there. This game has potential and it's up to Kunos to iron out the bugs and stutters.
This really worked! I also disabled Steam overlay for this game and also disabled windows fullscren optimization, and i can run it on ultra on a rtx 4080 with 4k tv using dlss on Quality and MSAA 4x. For races with many AI cars, i run on High to keep 60+ fps most of the time.
Oh my gosh. I had 20fps on a 3060 and I get around 100fps in AC1; I was utterly confused! I thought it was just an EA bug but even at lowest settings, there was no difference. Then you came along and saved my life! Currently enjoying AC Evo's new physics to the fullest; and 'Low' graphics do NOT look bad! Thank you so much!

Are you using triple screen? Otherwise it doesn’t make sense that you have to use medium settings in 1080p. I can do ultra graphics settings with a 4070ti super in 1440p and I don’t ever drop under 70fps with a full grid and heavy rain. If you’re having low fps in single screen, something else might be the problem
Thanks. I can't use the .exe as administrator, when I start by that way the game crash and delete the file from my system... I use that way on other software without any problem but doesn't work on ACEvo 🤷
Hi, all was well with changing to administrator until after i closed the game and my avast put the exe file in quarantine. The game will not launch anymore for some reason. I have removed admin launch and even re installed the game but to no avail. Im going to try and install on my other drive to see if that helps.
I play in VR so i had already set all my steam remote play, game and graphic parameter to have a fluid game and nice with 4xAA (+high settings cinematics AA and FXAA), parameters to medium, some in high, with average 60fps. My processor is a i5 9600k 4.6Ghz and graphics card AMD RX6950XT. The modification that you show let met graphics cards works a little bit more, temp goes from 56°c to 60°c and the cores of my processor temp goes down from 74-75°C to 67-68°C, so it's a good thing, than you !
Will try your suggestions as well. Not sure if this was exactly what you meant, but i do have stutters as well. But its just the weirdest thing, the frametiming is just a nice flat line without spikes, also the adaptive sync works properly. Still the image looks choppy. The effect will be less noticable when lowering settings to get above 100 fps, but will nevwr be gone.
Thanks for sharing. Followed all your tips but it’s still a stuttery mess on my 4090 rig. Must be something else going on. Tried low settings and 60fps, native, super res, texture pool resizing, makes no difference.

That Said: Question: I always run all my games through STEAM gaming and launch them within STEAM. I have never had any issues doing all my other great Racing games launching them in STEAM and selecting VR for my mode of operation. Why don't you use STEAM???? We could still do the same admin permissions just it would be launched in STEAM. Take care.
They still haven't fixed the resolution issue, my desk pc setup is 1440p LG monitor but can't use my wheel there so i use my Philips oled (120hz gsync) but that is 4k. Alone on track 4k dlss balanced i get 50-60fps average 7700x/2080. But i cant even try 1440p/1080p cos after you change settings it always defaults to native res by the time you load to track. I could prob get bit better fps @ 1440p with dlss or even to try 1080p but i can't cos the settings do not save. No stutter tho i have to say, frames are solid but bit too low to be ideal. With a grid i have no chance.
no matter what you do the game will lag because it's new and not optimized so it's better to wait for updates. i dont have like ultra powerful pc but i could easily run the game on medium settings but i cant even run it on the lowest settings. im not mad like the game was released few days ago so its normal for new games to be broken from the start.
These settings introduced stuttering on my end, stuttering that I didn't have before ehehe But my GPU is outdated (GTX 980), so until optimizations are done, I can't do much and live with disgustingly low fps even at low settings 😅 while ACC runs smootly with 29 AI cars! But hey, it's an early access, so it's pefectly fine, I knew it could have be a nightmare at the beginning. Eventually I'll buy a 5070 card and I will be fine for the next 10+ years (I hope).

You should increase Texture Pool Size to High if you have 8GB-12GB VRAM. That should help with performance too, according to the devs.

@@PcManiac2022you have to change the resolution in Windows. The resolution selector in game seems to have no effect at the moment.

Turning off the mirrors and settings to LOW seems to help my 2060 Super AMD 5 3600 32GB

There is. Turn grass density to OFF. 3090 here at 90+fps.

Has anyone tested this with a 2050? I refunded the game but was planing on getting it again once they done some more updates
Did not work here ...even in the menu i get a lag every 5 seconds
