What went wrong with Blomkamps' Robocop sequel plans ? The same thing that went wrong with his Alien sequel plans ; the Big studios don't trust him with a big budget and big intellectual properties. Shame really. I like his films.

Agreed. We did a video on Blomkamp's Aliens plans too. (Check it out) Such a shame. He's a fantastic director

@@pikeflowed unfortunately Blomkamps was tied up in another project. While being selected as director for Robocop, MGM wanted to push a timeline for the new Robocop movie.

Actually we liked it. It wasn't the same feel as the original but definitely worth at least one watch
