this is an OUTSTANDING tips 👍😇👌💪Cheers 🍻
You just saved me from an expensive repair bill. Thank you!!
Wow Jon, very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
I was taught many years ago that with tandem axles if you got a flat and no spare to chain up the axle to get to a safe place or to get home where you can repair/ replace the tire. I can now see that you do get a little clearance that way. With full load with one axle would really be a strain on the suspension though. 😊 Dan
Yes that would be a possibility to either chain or ratchet strap one side of the axel up if I had a flat. I always have a spare tire in the truck just in case I need it though.

Great fix for anyone John 👍❤😮
Thanks for the tip Jon! I never had this happen, but now if it does, I know how to fix it.
Kind of an odd ball thing to happen but it does from time to time. Thanks for watching!
Keep on tractoring!
That's crazy Jon...I didn't even know that was a thing! Thanks for the tip!
Jon, I've never seen that before. Easy fix, but if you did it wrong I could see a person getting bit by that force. Keeping us safe! Cheers Mark and Mari. 🌴🌲🚜
Hi Mark! Thanks for watching! Hope all is well up near you! We’ve been up in northern MN for the past few days! The weather is beautiful! Off to jump in the lake now. Take care!
Keep on tractoring!
Great tips!
My trailer did that yesterday and today. The first time I picked up the whole back end of the trailer with my tractor and it fixed it. the second time I had to use my truck jack and a block of wood on the very back of the trailer. I sprayed oil on every thing related to the equalizer and hope that helps. My friend said they sell a hollow bolt with a grease fitting to go in the equalizer..
I’ve had this happen a few times. Very helpful video!
Nice to hear I’m not the only one that has experienced this. Thanks Ben! Hope all is well!
Keep on tractoring!
Nice fix!
Cool 😎 trick Jon 😎
This video saved me. Thank you!
Thanks 🙏👍
Thank you!!
Well I should of watched this before disassembling my trailer 😂
Thank you!
Wet bolts are a great option for any multi-axle trailer
Aren’t the leaf springs supposed to be on the underside of the equalizer? So it would be an M and not a W? Or does that not matter?
Depends on the design. One is called over-slung, the other under-slung.
The setup in the video seems more common.
It flipped on both sides Jon. that must have been some pretty big pot hole. HAHAAHAHA
Yep, both sides. Not really that big of pot hole actually, just something that happens every so often.
Keep on tractoring!
I have done many of things throughout the years but have never done that. 😂
It only has ever happened a few times and always with an empty trailer. I guess it’s common with dump trailers.
Keep on tractoring!
I think maybe some spray lubricant on the pivot point to also get rid of the rust.
