The Journey Continues:
This passage in Deuteronomy recounts the Israelites' victory over King Sihon of the Amorites, granting them access to the land God promised. Moses reminds the people of their long journey, the consequences of disobedience they witnessed, and the faithfulness of God who delivered them.
Key Ideas:
God's Faithfulness: Despite past rebellions, God remained true to his promise, leading the Israelites to victory. (v. 14)
Obedience Brings Blessing: Following God's instructions, like not attacking Edom or Moab, positioned Israel for success. (v. 1-8)
God Fights for His People: The Israelites didn't win through sheer might, but because God hardened Sihon's heart and fought for them. (v. 30)

How can we see God's faithfulness in our own lives, even during challenging times?
Are there areas where we need to be more obedient to God's leading?
In what ways can we trust God to fight our battles, even when they seem overwhelming?
