Okay so I was just watching an Allie Dawson video & this short video clip that’s part of the “Stories” right before you see all of the recommendations for other videos to watch, was the first one.
The thumbnail for this clip IMMEDIATELY made me click off of the video I was watching so that I could watch how ya got this look using Jeffree’s newest palette release. I didn’t even get through half of your mini tutorial when I felt compelled to go straight to the homepage of your channel to subscribe & now that I’ve done this, I’m super stoked to watch your other eyeshadow looks because you have some crazy & serious blending skills among your other makeup talent!!!!! 👍🏼😁💯

Ashley Haw Makeup okay so you don’t know this but I had two tumors taken from my left ear last Monday and it was during my recovery that I came across your channel and as silly as it sounds I am absolutely excited that you pinned my comment. This is a first for me. I always get nice replies but never got a comment pin until now and that absolutely made my entire year next to hearing they were able to remove 100% of the two ear tumors with minimal scarring. It does seem like a great pallet. I love the look, too, but I can’t get behind J*. Even before we learned that he was became better at listening to his PR instead of becoming a better person, I thought his products were overpriced. Your teaching style is easy to follow, so if you could make an updated video using similar eyeshadows from non-problematic sources, that would be awesome!

You really shouldn’t judge someone by the cover and to be quite honest, the fact that you purposely came & commented on a video that you were well aware of the fact that she was using a JS makeup product makes you look very dramatic & it ALSO makes you look like a bully when you went out of your way to put someone down just because ESPECIALLY WHEN IF you had taken the time to do your due diligence, you would have seen that they IN FACT posted this just over a month PRIOR TO all the mess we now know about exploding all over the internet.
This is in no way an attack on you. What I’m saying to you is that you replied with a massive amount of emotion & then making an unfounded accusation. So if you happen to read through what I typed, will hopefully clarify that once again in NO WAY an attack on you and instead is more of a friendly piece of advice because I’m pretty sure if someone made an unfounded accusation against you in such a public way, that you wouldn’t like it ESPECIALLY IF whatever the rumour is going around was UNTRUE...............please, just think about it. 😑😢💖🙂

That being said I don’t condone what he’s been accused of but again the point is about a specific thing and whether or not this person knew of what was happening or didn’t know, you can’t go assuming that if people buy his makeup that they will automatically know about what has been rumoured to have happened.
It’s not fair for you to make such an assumption about someone you don’t know and with all due respect, I’m pretty sure that you wouldn’t like it if someone made a judgment call about you when they didn’t know you. Ya know what I mean??!

I’m a MUA and I recommend using a face wash on a wash cloth if you don’t want to spend your money on a brush cleaner 🥰

I’m sure your personal “heroes” would shock tf out of you with some of their behavior too. I’m the type to give people chances. Cup Cake ColourPop has a smaller version of a palette like this one. Urban Decay made a Smokey palette that is like this one. If you google “cool toned palettes” you will find what your looking for. You can also make your own palette, duping all the shades of the Jstar palette, using other great brands who sell singles. Like: Looxie brand, The Balm, Inglot, colourPop, Mac, ABH, Makeup Geek, etc.
(I have a palette that has 109 single shadows in it from all these brands, they all make great singles)
