Yes alina won olympics but she couldn't win or even get on to the podium at the world championship. For me evgenia is still the best. She was unbeaten for 2 years straight, double russian, double european and double world champion. Alina has to show that she can show the same consistency as well. And we will see if she has it or if she goes the way of lipnitskaya. And i do believe that if zhenya had not been injured and had been a 100 percent fit she would have beaten alina, . Evgenia even didn't participate the world's championship. Alina also had a chance not to go, but she didn't avoid it. If you will say that Evgenia was injured, Alina was also sick.

Alina is the best skater in the world i know it and accept it, she is an Olympic champion and it is deserved but Evgenia is the girl who made me strong and gave me stamina sometimes I don't want to go to the gym, but I think about Evgenia and it gives me a motivation to work harder, so she is my personal queen
