A very scary motorbike ride from lake Bala to lake Vyrnwy in North Wales

I am terrified of heights so it was a massive achievement for me an also the reason for me talking rubbish all the way . Please like and subscribe if you get some pleasure from the video .

I did this road a few years ago on my Speed Triple and it frightened me.The part where the road drops off to the left was the worst as I had to contend with one or two cars coming towards me and leaving me very little room ....I knew that if my front wheel went too far over I would plunge down the valley!.But the scenery was amazing and I wanted to do it again but in the other direction as on my first trip I had gone a different way back to Bala.So I went back the following year .The trees surrounding Lake Vyrnwy are incredible they must be hundreds of years old.It was so dark under them all the cars had their headlights on....and it was midsummer!
Dunno whether it is more scary on two wheels or four as I have done it on both. you should try it when there is ice on the road.
But you didn't actually get to Lake Vyrnwy in this video!!!
Do you have a map of this route. Wouldn't mind riding it in May when we stay at Bala. Cheers
Hi Scot if you take the B4391 out of Bala then just past the PenYBont touring park take a right signed

Ah so that is the way, I did this route the other day coming from lake vyrnwy, I turned back about half way because it didn't seem right
It's the river Hirnant, which does run into the river Dee (Afon Ddyfrdwy) a few miles to the east of Bala.
