I wanted to show that they are absolutely fine, and that there is no need to worry about your ENG1. Interesting to hear you have to get a medical done. Sounds similar to my pilot's medical which checks eyesight, heart and lung function and general health. I've gone to a number of doctors over the years, some have you stripped down to underpants others it's just shirt and shoes off. I imagine its similar for girls. Thanks for posting this, it's all really interesting. We should try and catch up next time you are in Southampton

I’m having mine tomorrow and didnt know I had to pee or strip!! Absolutely terrified! 🤣 I’ve always been quite insecure about my body and am not good at social interaction at the best of times, let alone being basically naked!! Thank you for the warning! I’ll try to take it in stride like you! ♡

Thanks really useful info. I've been offered a job got ENG 1 this week and got to get about 6 or 7 different vaccinations, seafarers book, blood type document and a few other bits together. Stress lol
ah finally, a woman talking about the ENG1! Glad I found you. I have a quick question if you can answer it. I have my ENG1 medical in a few days time and I had no idea you have to strip down haha! Can I wear a sports bra as I feel most comfortable in that for this purpose or is that going to impact the doctor being able to hear my chest do you think? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
I’m sure a sports bra will be absolutely fine. They feel your stomach for hernias etc

Do they have your medical record or they look at it or is it simply just the questionnaire form?
I've been thinking about working on ships for years but finding out you have to strip down is a line I won't cross. Ah my dreams are shattered. 😢
