In the color page is the new color slice grading palette, It formalized the functionality of the DCTL I had- just made it so much easier to use. Then the tracking and noise reduction .
Wonderful video, Daniel! Finally I have the DR 19 in iPad. I've been using DR 19 since Saturday and every day I discover a different new feature. The audio tools (Music Remixer, Sound Separator, Ducker) are excellent and strangely operational in Cut and were not mentioned in the list of updates. Another interesting point is the descriptions of the functions now present on the Cut Page. In short, we have many operational functions in this new version that will yield a lot of subject for the next videos. Thank you again for your excellent work. I’m doing my “once a year I’m gonna try learning DaVinci” and this video helps out so much I’m a premiere user and seeing how many features work on the iPad that I use in Premiere is making it easier for me to actually want to learn it more. Hi, Daniel. For all transition edits, You can make one transition with all you're desire setting, after that select transition in edit page and copy, after this with one "rectangle selection" on all edits in timeline(not one by one) You will select all edits and just paste. This way you will paste you're custom modified transition, there is not need to make custom preset.
Another great video that helps us all. One main issue I have with DR is when using cache in smart mode all works well, however, the cache files are huge and each time it creates a new one. Therefore, disk space reduces considerably to the point that sometimes a 100gb. I have to go into DR and delete to get disk space back. Would be good if this did not happen and the cache file would just overwrite the previous one instead of creating new each time.
Hello Daniel, you can now set up your speed ramp in the inspector. First you set up your two speed points as usual and when the playhead is between the two points you can change the speed in the inspector, you can also change between Linear and Smooth and if your Pleahead is behind the second speed point then you can change the rear speed point to Smooth.
Wonderful and accurate explanation done with professionalism. Just one piece of advice: speak more slowly because following the video, the cursor and the pages, translating into Italian mentally is difficult. Thanks

I think they changed something. Based on performance they limit some of the features pre-M1 Chip time. Maybe it’s time to update. (sorry) at least some stuff works… while FCP for iPad only works on M Chip Series.
hey boss, just stumbled onto your page today. i had the color wheels since launch and they worked on dev beta 18 prior to 19. matter of fact im still on dev beta ( just found out by your video now theres v19) and the color wheel is working with davinci. m4 13 2tb ipad. i even use a second screen a 16 inch oled monitor as well as the speed editor.

One question I have that i cant seem to find any one talking about is that when i import files from an SD card Resolve just links to the files and doesn’t import them as when i pull out the sd card after importing and editing the media files become missing. In fcpx I have gotten use to checking the box “import to library”. I dont see any options like this, in the mean time i have to use the media management tool to copy files into a new folder which seems not very intuitive. What would you recommend doing here?

Wenn du wieder auf Englisch umstellen willst, musst du das in den Apple Einstellungen machen. Dort dann DaVinci Resolve suchen und da Language auf English umstellen. Denn dort steht aktuell AUTO, deshalb nimmt er die Sprache wie dein iPad eingestellt ist. lg Daniel

Having an issue where transitions aren’t saving to my project and after coming back to a project a day later a blank space is left on the timeline. I’m running version 19 on an iPad 11 inch M4. Anyone know why this is happening? Thanks
Keeps crashing on my iPad every time I try to preview video effects. Not sure if this just happens on my setup but it’s highly annoying and not confidence inspiring. I am on the M4 13’ iPad Pro.

Daniel, i own the BMPCC OG wish DaVinci 19.1 IOS could use CINEMA DNG format. I have looked everywhere for a workaround to no avail.

Yeah for Voice Over its a shame…. MotionVFX has his own App on iPad called mInstaller. Super easy to install the Plugins with that App ❤️😘

Do you Need the 1 or 2 TB Version of the iPad for longer Projects or is 512 just enough?
it says it has to be ipads with 16Gb of ram, so the ideal would be at least 1Tb

I don’t have this issue. Try re install DaVinci. Try Restart iPad. BackUp your Projects before.

You also have to put an in (i) and out (o) ob the Timeline. It will only render what you select via In and Out.
