関西を拠点とするOSK日本歌劇団のトップスター・楊琳（やんりん）と、娘役トップスター・舞美（まいみ）りら（京都市出身）が今年8月限りで退団することを発表した。劇団OGの笠置シヅ子（1914～1985年）を主人公のモデルにしたNHK連続テレビ小説「ブギウギ」の追い風もあり、2023年11月の京都・南座公演は大入りに沸くなど、OSK人気が「満開」を迎える中での花道になる。楊と舞美が2024年1月24日に大阪市内で開かれた会見で、思いを語った。
