This man has become my idol as I start baking bread myself. Thanks for the video mate & I subscribed to the channel as well. Seems like I will love your work a lot since I like Roman history as well.
I was always wandering about those circular shapes... Mensa ponderaria in Pompeii 🤦🏼♀️Thank you for the clarification. Great video! Greetings from Canada.
Excellent question! During this period (1st century BC/CE bodies were almost always cremated. Inhumation become more widespread from the reign of Hadrian onwards (early second century CE), and by the 4th century the practice of cremation had essentially died out - if you'll excuse the pun!
So many languages and words lost to time. If only we can crack those old languages someday so we can learn more..... .... of taxes, transactions and the luridly spicy gossips back then. I mean those graffitis in Rome and elsewhere are kind of like that.😅

I viewed this while in Rome and now I've learned so much more about it. Thank you!
i absolutely love this tomb and the frise and story about it. A breadmaker, who fed people and not some bankster parasite, that's why i like it.

Hallo kawan,
Pemandangan gedung yang sangat megah sekali, aku suka pemandangan nya
That tomb was my last stop in Rome back in 2019. Surprisingly there are no historical markers or protected from the public.
I like your videos a lot. Any more tours planned for UA-cam Alex? Been a while.
Thanks for the interesting tour. Was the body excavated from the tomb?

@@WalksInsideRome Thanks for the information. Cheers.
Marcus made roman meal bread. Jack Lalane endorsed it.
Could have just mentioned Porta Maggiore... That's where it is.
How do you know its a tomb and not a monument?
