All those games were quality back in the day I used to love the 8 bit & 16 bit games not just for the quality but nostalgia too - I dread to think how many hours I put into Sonic 1 on Megadrive (inc the youtube playthrough I did not too long ago).
Some great choices there matey... Original Mario and Heavenly sword were great choices 😉😉

Yeah, that OG wonder boy for the master system is fantastic.
That's the first game I ever played on that console.
Used to play it at my buddies house after school.
His mum used to bring us up the best chip butties, soaked in vinegar with plenty of salt, lol.
They were delicious.😂
Man, that MK was awesome on the master system too. One of the best.
Cracking vid mate.
SNES: Super Castlevania 4 (yeah there are better games, but the nostalgia with this is too strong to ignore and that soundtrack, incredible!)
Gameboy: Gargoyles Quest (my first and still favourite GB game i ever bought. Love it)
N64: Zelda, ocarina (Zelda on SNES was amazing, this was something else)
PS2: Vice City (made me fall in love with gaming again)
PS3: Tough one, but Alien Isolation.
Im also collecting for SF because the artwork is still the best on any system i reckon. There was always something about Japanese art on those boxes, unrivalled 🤙
Cool selection there…it’s why I love watching these types of vr’s go round as it’s interesting to see what peeps prefer and the memories behind them
Yeah I have got right into the artwork on the superfamicom, I seem to be discovering different games each time I have a random look through eBay!

Really enjoyed watching this dude, I’m gonna keep an eye out for Darkwatch and you’ve completely sold me on Crackdown! I also remember being completely blown away by Heavenly Sword ( I think it was one of the first games I ever played on the PS3). Yeah definitely give both darkwatch and crackdown a go, both awesome….crackdown is legendary and doesn’t get the love it deserves.

Some great choices there! I’m surprised how many I’ve played 😂 I played Heavenly Sword a couple of years ago but I had to turn off the six axis control for the bow and arrow!
Great vr there rodg buddy.... and not just because it had wonderboy in there 😂 I love that game, still remember getting that on Christmas morning with my master system 😊 love hearing the stories and memories bud. I knew sonic was coming, loved watching you smash that game bud 👊 i really need to put some time into gran turismo, ive only ever played it to get the b licence 😂
Loved the stories attached to the games Rodge, some belters in there mate, GTA Vice city i did the same as you did with crackdown and used to play my own music

Shocked u listened to your own music on Vice City-there were some awesome tunes on the soundtrack, I guess you can only put up with them for so many times!

Awesome choices and anecdotes mate! Haha, I love the blue hedgehog; I know folk compare him and the plumber guy but although they're obviously the mascots for the companies I think the games are so different that I enjoy them in the own right.
The forza horizon titles kick butt. a nice pick up and play series in my opinion. I still need to get dark watch - remember you chatting about it at retro hunter. cheers!

That reminds me, my close second choice on the 360 would be Bioshock…have you played that yet?? U need to get into them, again awesome.
