Brilliant! Thank you! I love this. I was a dance teacher and my students would always ask when they would dance like me. My answer was always that they would never dance like me. They would dance like themselves and that was beautiful. People are a combination of everything that's happened in their lives, both physically and mentally so why would we think we could be just like someone else? Every person's experiences and DNA make them the beautiful person they are who can do unique and beautiful things. That should be celebrated!

wow !! i watched you on Peggy Dean's Creative Retreat and watching your lesson I was hooked on your style of teaching, I was never really in love with the Gothic Style or Blackletter Style, it would just intimidate me , looks way too hard , I am more into the modern style and Spencerian Calligraphy ...but the easygoing style of your class and after watching this video made me really think I am capable of doing this...now I really want to learn this style , I think I have found my new obsession , haha 😊 thank u

Thank you so much for the kind words and for sharing your story! I sincerely appreciate it and totally agree.! Although I focused on calligraphy, I really hoped to make the video general enough with other examples that you could replace the last two words in the first question with another topic and it would still (mostly) be applicable, so thank you again for sharing ☺️ I love how you mentioned that we also draw on the history of our lives and that our creativity is like our DNA! ☺️
