One of the most hilarious things I see people do with these is stick an Obelisk the Tormentor in there. I don’t care if there is literally no reason to do it. I just love seeing these little things summoning a god to have snack time with.
And 2 years later, considering how Kashtira Fenrir and Unicorn are splashable in basically any deck, I run them at 2 and 1 copies respectively as tech. To be able to banish any card and any extra deck card from your opponent’s side at will is just awesome. It is hilarious how we have literal evil space invaders like the Kashtira working so well within an archetype like Melffy. 😂
How did I just find this archetype?! When I was in high school and had to do free writing im English; I would write what my teacher called children's shorts. This archetype is a perfect fit for the creative side of mind!
I remember doing a fan project about Melffys, adding non-canon support. I kinda just looked at Melffy Pinny and was like "You're so different from the others. How about I go wild?" and I took from the characters on Melffy Melffys to make the "Arctic Melffys" subarchetype, which focused on Synchros, Graveyard effects and bouncing from the Hand (or, with a certain one under rare conditions, the Deck). Their boss monster was a foil to Melffy Mommy, being Melffy Pappa. He had not very good battle stats but very very difficult to affect with card effects, and he could also extend this to other Melffys past a certain point (he buffed himself off of Melffys in your GY). To make up for his lackluster stats, he got a small DEF boost for every Melffy in the GY too, so like Mommy, given time, he could become a big issue. Though, fortunately, for his strongest negate, he'd have to shuffle 3 Melffys from the Graveyard to the Deck, but then he'd burn the opponent for his new DEF value. Pretty much, where Mommy is "don't attack", Pappa was "don't effect". Because he didn't destroy the negated card and his negate's only limit was the number of Melffys in your GY (btw, he needed 8+), he could be used for OTKs by cycling your opponent's own card effects if they didn't have a once-per-turn, like a certain "C". Also, if I was feeling evil, I would've probably added support that allowed you to put a Melffy back in your GY off of his negate for a more terrifying OTK possibility.

A really fun tech option in Melffys is Mine Mole at 1, so you can turn Rescue Cat into a +1 Naturia Beast, since Mine Mole gives you a free draw, and since you're more than likely running Valyrfean and the level 3 you're using for Naturia Beast is a garnet in hand anyways, making it into a +1 is really nice.

Baby Tiger is a good one seeing as summoning one special summons the other from hand or grave. Tri-brigade is pretty good with this as you're constantly special summoning thus triggering the rank 4's effect every turn. The rank 3 gets you some things back and the rank 2 is a great way to get off a kalantosa or fix your hand a bit.
My preferred use for Marfaes is to use Closed Forest and Solidarity, as well as things like Ronin Raccoon and Merfae Time, in order to gain super high attack values on protected Beasts. It turns it into a beatdown deck, but it's still very fun to summon a Ronin Raccoon token with over 5000 ATK and destruction protection. Bonus points if two tokens.
Been using these cuties alongside the Tri-Brigades coz Hardleg Joe's vid convinced me to do so. Along with the new support, they synergize surprisingly well. I also now have a headcanon that it is the solemn duty of the Tri-Brigades to protect these little critters.

You can put Danger! Bigfoot and Alpha master of beasts for some epic boss monsters and throw #64 sandayu in there with a junk syncron and the otk for the win lol.
For rescue cat 1 card naturia beast I prefer using mine mole + valerifawn I draw a card and set valerifawn to graveyard so I can grab it back with pony

I chose this duo because I think they both symbolize pre-DBZ Son-Goku/Kakarot (Joyous/Excited Melffy) and DBZ Broly (Bujintei Susanowo) based on type, attribute, effects and the personalities both cards represent by both card illustrations. Especially since Xyz summoning is associated with the extraterrestrial and that there are spells and traps with images of a giant ape and red moon which supports Beast type monsters. Sorry for the rant, I just came up with these wild ideas in my head after watching this video, lol.
Just made a Pure Marfae deck. It's never going to be usable in higher Ranks, but I love to play them in casual. Specially annoying Numeron Dragon or HERO players
I've done the Marfae (Melffy) and Ojama mix It's not amazing, but it's funny to have that kind of counter game I added a Tri-Brigade engine for bullshit comedy reasons, and it's oppressive af
I sure have! Excited is exactly the kinf of win con the deck needed: A way to push for damage while maintaining your tempo is awesome, and Zoo King Alpha can be used as Proactive removal to supplement Melffy of the Forest's Reactive stun. It's beautiful.
Oh man, that's a toughie. I think I'm gonna have to cop out and give you two answers. I love playing long, inscrutable combos that last 10 minutes to resolve, so for that I love playing Block Dragon BA. But when I feel like being a more civil member of society, Madolche is where it's at. The power level/complexity levels are just right, and I've been playing them for so long, that it's like replaying an old video game you love. It's good confort food!
The closest things I have to Deck Profiles are my Field Test videos, but I don't get super in-depth with the deck building choices, and it is all on EDOPRO, so no physical deck. But it's got commentated gameplay footage, which hopefully makes up for that! xD
Tiger King Wanghu. You would be surprised how many combos and plays that guy shuts off by himself. It's an excellent floodgate for your opponent to have to contend with while you assemble your pieces in the early game.
We already have people who got the alternative ash blossom art just for the feet and won't shut up about it. I think ygo players are already doomed. V_V

The deck I use the most is an Obelisk structure deck I just threw a bunch of random stuff in. There’s some Melffy in there 😂
Now I'm imagining a scene where a Melfy tries to scare off another monster and they're unaffected until Obelisk shows up behind them

Just want to add onto this. Using Melffy pinny as one of the materials allows you to use Cat Sharks effect infinitely, as long as it’s on the field.

Nat Beast is pretty good! Adding an X-Saber Airbellum to facilitate that summon with a rescue cat is pretty choice!
