Reminds me about the time I went to my local petco and found a apistogramma agassizii double red that was labeled as a “rainbow kribensis” the only time I have ever bought an apoistogramma for less than $10

I have never seen them! That's how to treat PetCo, if they do not know, pay the cheap price! Good find! They look like Lemon Tetras, so good tankmates!

IKR. They are shaped much like the Lemons. They used to be that size but quickly outgrew them. Very peaceful and fun to watch fish. Thanks Dave.

had seen them long ago but i wasn't trying to keep tetras then, they were dither fish for my large SA cichlids

Really nice lookin tetra Bob. Defiantly never seen them in stores before but that tail fin is amazing. I hope you get a chance to breed them or atleast figure out how to breed them. Get them back into the hobby! Do they eat like other tetra? AKA little piranhas lol

Hi mate, thanks for your video.
I’ve just bought a group of 18, and they seem to be quite territorial and some of them going off by themselves and defending a specific area of the tank.
Have you experienced this, and know why that may be?
Sometimes they school together very well, but now mostly shoal and chase each other.

Perhaps there’s too few of them in my 100G. Not sure 🤷‍♂️
