Amazing that Petco somehow got them in as black neons. Even more amazing that you were able to buy them for $2.49 each. Good deal, and great eye for the unusual, Bob. 👍💕👍
Reminds me about the time I went to my local petco and found a apistogramma agassizii double red that was labeled as a “rainbow kribensis” the only time I have ever bought an apoistogramma for less than $10
I have never seen them! That's how to treat PetCo, if they do not know, pay the cheap price! Good find! They look like Lemon Tetras, so good tankmates!
Me too. I'm waiting on them to arrive so I can go have fasting lab drawn. Always a fun morning. Yeah,, that FB group know their stuff for sure. #OGSQUAD.
Really nice lookin tetra Bob. Defiantly never seen them in stores before but that tail fin is amazing. I hope you get a chance to breed them or atleast figure out how to breed them. Get them back into the hobby! Do they eat like other tetra? AKA little piranhas lol
Hi mate, thanks for your video. I’ve just bought a group of 18, and they seem to be quite territorial and some of them going off by themselves and defending a specific area of the tank. Have you experienced this, and know why that may be? Sometimes they school together very well, but now mostly shoal and chase each other. Thanks in advance
@@CaylorsReptilesAquaticsthanks mate. I have mine in with 20/25 cardinals too so I don’t think that’s the problem. Perhaps there’s too few of them in my 100G. Not sure 🤷♂️
This is a new species to me...thanks for expanding my horizons
Wow they are neat fish, You are very good at finding oddball fish.
I admit, I look for things in the tanks I don't recognize. The struggle is real..

I couldn't believe my luck. Of course someone, somewhere, didn't get their Costaes. Thanks ShelbyRae!

IKR. They are shaped much like the Lemons. They used to be that size but quickly outgrew them. Very peaceful and fun to watch fish. Thanks Dave.
Those are some tetras I have not seen before. Thanks for sharing my friend.

Yes. They love bug bites and any frozen food. Thanks Kam
Can you do a longer update on them?

@@Alex-ch2wn I haven’t had any aggression issues. I do keep other dither fish with them and suspect that helps.
