Ah, I mean no disrespect ,however, this video is yours, you should do this in your spare time but for me it was extremely boring.. good luck to you but I am going to unsubscribe
Good Morning y'all! What a gorgeous cemetery!! It's pure art! Chris, after you touched on these lovely grave markers, it's so difficult to choose a favorite. I loved the stained glass marker, and the Christ swinging the little girl, yet they are all very special. I hope you'll take us here again. I hope y'all have a wonderful day!
What a beautiful surprise for my Sunday morning! This is the most beautiful cemetery sculpture that I have seen! The expense for these memorials must be astounding but people find a way to express their love for their departed. Thank you and I hope you do more of these walks.
I really enjoy these videos Chris, because occasionally I'll take a walk thru a cemetery looking at the headstones. I think about what the story is for each individual. What an amazing place this is. The creativity of some of the memorials is a sight to behold.
Having worked in underground real estate, I would like to give props to the grounds crew at this cemetery. Especially noted is the base of Mr. Smith's monument. 5:35 many cemeteries do not allow polished bases, but require rock edged bases so as to not show damage from mechanical mowers. This grounds crew is putting in the extra effort to keep this monument in good condition.
I didn't find this boring. Its so special what some people choose to have displayed as a monument to themselves or to deceased loved ones. Keep up the good work.
That was so interesting! Thank you for taking us there - some truly beautiful artwork in those memorials - glad to hear you are feeling better after your surgery!
Your so right..it’s a beautiful place and memorials….you are obviously drawn there for a reason, so please keep doing what your heart takes you too. So many of us really do appreciate the chance to visit these places we know we can never get to ourselves. I live in the U.K. so travel with you! Stunning memorials!,,❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏻💐💐💐💐💐🙋♀️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I wish I had seen this a week ago. I just returned home from Louisville two days ago. I loved seeing the all the beautiful artwork that was around the cemetery. Hopefully I will be able to visit the next time I am in Louisville. I very much enjoyed this! Thank you!
Loved this vid, thanks for taking the time to create it. There are two that stick out to me, the graves of a couple from two different religions and were buried in two different cemeteries, their stones connect over a wall. Another is the boy in a wheelchair that was being lifted into heaven. They are so wholesome and will stay with me forever.
Hey Chris. I really enjoyed this video. The monuments you featured were beautiful. I was especially moved by the Little Girl being swung by Jesus. If I ever pass through Louisville again I will make a serious effort to stop at this cemetery. Thanks again Chris!
Wow I love this video. How beautiful and expressive those monuments are. It sends a sense of peace. I've never seen a monument before that has more than one statue of something. The last one of 3 or 4 are so neat. Thanks again for another great video.
The cemetery is beautiful and the monuments are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing this with us! The monuments do tell their stories. I love your videos.
This video is breathtaking. The meaningful headstones and statues are so beautiful and give you pause to reflect. I hope that you do more of these types of videos, they are lovely and so thoughtful. thanks
I love Cave Hill!!! Thank you for showing this so others can see the beauty. If anyone finds themselves in Louisville, make some time to swing by. It's fabulous!
Wow! What amazing place. Thanks for taking us on a tour of such a unique place. If I ever find myself in that area I will make a point to visit. Hope you have a great week! God bless!
I love your work Chris, your tours, research, respect for these lives whether long deceased or shorter is beautiful. This was a beautiful place I wish I could comment on every one of them but we’d have a book going lol. Sometimes ppl tend to be judgmental when they are actually jealous, or perhaps having an ugly personality. You’re work, respect, heck just your voice is well love in this community. Pin that 💕
Thank you so much for featuring Cave Hill Cemetery. I live near this beautiful cemetery and arboretum and visit it frequently. It is amazing that as many times I've visited, I always find a monument I've never seen before. I am into photography and love to take pictures there during the different seasons of the year. It is especially beautiful in the spring and fall and the grounds are so well maintained. The lakes, fountains and statuary are absolutely beautiful and it is a quiet respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. The water fowl on the lakes are so relaxing to watch, as well as birds and wildlife who make their homes there. The military section of the cemetery is very moving to see. Most of the soldiers buried there were killed during the Civil War. Each Memorial Day weekend, some friends and I join scores of volunteers to plant flags on the graves of these valiant warriors. It is a beautiful sight to behold when all of the flags have been planted. Thanks again for featuring Cave Hill on your channel!
Oh, Chris! This video blessed my heart. Thank you so much! The song Jesus Loves Me is one I want sung when I pass. So simple yet speaks so well of His love for each of us. I had an older lady friend that was dying of brain cancer and one day when I visited her, she took my hands and said, "Jesus loves me. Jesus loves me." I asked her if she wanted to sing it and she said she did so we sang it together. It wasn't long after that when she passed then I sang it at her memorial service, in tears. It was a moment I will always cherish. God bless you!
I'm glad you are on the mend and are back doing what you enjoy doing, walking cemeteries. This one was really something! And it was so cool at the end, while looking at the Dog statue, the sun casts a shadow on a tree limb nearby right behind the Dog and it almost looked like he was wagging his tail. Did anyone else catch that? LOL... That was perfect timing with your video. I really enjoyed this and would love to see more. Stay safe and it's good to have you back.
What a beautiful cemetery. Loved the couple statue the best. Gave me happy thoughts of their long life together instead of sad ones like the little girl sami and the young girl at the end. Job well done. I will go back and watch the old ones since im a relatively new subscriber!!
Another wonderful video! Variety is the spice of life! Its ur channel n u video what u want. We r just visitors/subscribers n we r going to find a variety n the freedom to watch or move on. I choose to watch! At least Mr Bishop was respectful n I can appreciate that.
I love these types of vlogs. It is so well done. I am ( and will remain) a subscriber, and I personally enjoy all your content. Beautiful monuments in this cemetery. I look forward to further content of this nature. Stay well sir.
What a beautiful cemetery certainly not your typical resting place. Thanks so much for sharing this fascinating walk around video, it was very interesting!
Please don’t lose heart just because it may not have been a cup of tea for two people ( yes I’m English!) but I counted over 40 others who said how much they enjoyed these really beautiful and unusual monuments..,they really are incredible designs some of them. I do hope you are making good progress still health wise. All best wishes for your full and healthy recovery, 🙋♀️🙏🌻💕
I really enjoyed this video! It is quite different than ours from there which is awesome to see all the things you added. This video could easy be 3 hours long with all the amazing things to see there.
Welcome back. I truly enjoyed this video. I loved the statues and the meaning behind them. My favorite ones were the pegasus, the couple, the little girl swinging (it looked like she was really swinging), and the people with the swords ( I swear I saw him blink). Thanks again for a fantastic video.
Absolutely awesome. Thanks for allowing me to walk thru this gorgeous cemetery with you...one I otherwise would have never seen. Your comments are reverant and thoughtful. One question..it appeared to have a "box" off to the dide but yet in front of the basketball players stone. Any idea what that was? Loved this and hope you do more like this!!!
I had to watch this twice because of the beauty. Not to change the subject but I hope you are doing well since you had surgery not long ago Have a fantastic week sir
Sorry about your surgery. Hope you are feeling better. Growing up in an older neighborhood, there was an older cemetery with a circle of Civil War and a few Revolutionary War soldier. I loved walking a block away and find so much history. Unfortunately, it was left to overgrow and twice within my memory, and people stepped up to rescue it. Now most of the headstones were taken up, and there was a pile of broken headstone pieces. Now it is used as a dog park and greenhouse.
I love it Chris! Just remember You can’t please everyone, just please the Lord and your family and all will be well!!! I love the one of Jesus swinging the little girl…she was a drowning victim. She fell in her family’s pool while riding her tricycle…just heartbreaking. I can’t even begin to imagine… Thanks for the awesome video and Godspeed brother!

Awesome comment. Going to pin this one so people can see the uplifting comments that I get sometime.
If Mr. Bishop didn't like this grave tour, why did you check it out? Should of pass it by.
Any one thinking any vid is boring, simply fight OCD & Go To another Vid Instead, Yes, ..... Its Just That Simple!!!
