I think to ask for money you have to be more visible and produce more content. Your weekly chats are nice. You live in a location with lots of ground to cover and those of us from other regions would enjoy seeing around your town. I always enjoy watching drive with me, it's fun to see the view from someplace your not familiar with. Just seeing new landscapes is fun. I think you could create alot we would enjoy with very little out pouring of money. Thanks for what you do.

I love all videos - live streams as well as travel ones. For me you have been a great influencer and Chris and I were visiting a lot of great places just because of you and your videos. Starting with Stockbridge, which we loved and just in October we've been to Salem (again) and to New Paltz which blew me away with it's beauty. We discovered your channel this past Halloween when we happened upon your Lizzie Borden video. Just want to say THANK YOU! Just received our first Yankee Candle (Balsam and Cedar) In the mail today. You’ve convinced us (literally) to stop and smell the roses, spices, candles etc…
That's awesome! I found the channel from the Lizzie Borden video too. Since then I have bought around 35 Yankee Candles. One is balsam and cedar too. My two favorite are Cider House and Majestic Mount Fugi.
I know that the economy is tough right now so my thought is not to force anything...If you have to push to make something happen, then it probably wasn't meant to be.....I know that asking for money isn't comfortable but letting people know what is needed upfront isn't begging....Some may be able to afford to sponsor a trip in the right time.....Many don't know what it costs to make the trip....Thanks for sharing your heart and predicament.
You could make a video of yourself walking down the street and I would watch it ! If Santa’s Village is not feasible then that’s ok. It seems it’s a source of stress because of the expense . You have amazing past videos of that experience, we can watch those. As you know I am a big supporter of you and this channel. I would rather have a few mini road trip videos that would be just as fun. You always have us in mind when you are creating content and we all appreciate you for that. ❤
You mentioned walking your dog and coming up with a description of the smells of the walk. That is a basic video you could produce cheaply. Refer to candles that match the smells of that walk.
Something happened to my first comment....We care about you so whatever you do would be what we want....I just want to know that you are O.K....I know you are very driven to bring perfection which is a great trait but we also just want to spend time with you....Life isn't a straight line so many ups and downs are ahead...Do what you feel is best..I know first hand what I used to be able to do I can't any more and it is hard to accept some days but realize you do make an impact even in the small things....Take care!
Just thought of another idea. My son @pearbird69 offered to take you camping. Many people watch others setting up camps, starting campfires, and cooking.
Can you do more shorter live videos in addition to smell it sundays? The more you are visible the more subscribers. These can be made Live then don’t edit. Not just numbers game, tho. People need to see you more often to refer you. I don’t know what we can think of that you have not already., but we will think think think. Your back porch series we love! Simple basic candle reviews without travel. We’re with you in spirit. You also have to get over being reluctant to sell yourself. Artistic effort is worth money!!!! Your artist output is worth money. We are retired and one is unwell. We feel bad that we enjoy your content because we can’t do what you do but we have little money to support you effort. Shane, you can do those little projects or demos all you want. Still remember the time you blended up watermelon to recreate a candle fragrance. More of those demos?!?
