I’ve been a professional pastry chef nearly 40 years and I know how exactly tedious this kind of work is... Your attention to detail no matter how minute was amazing! While l enjoy making “Specialty” cakes like these, I found the majority of adults dislike the taste of fondant. Whether it’s a commercial brand or my own recipe.
I sincerely enjoyed your video thank you for posting it.
P.S. I apologize but I just have to say this; I hope everyone sees the amount of work that goes into a cake like this so please:
- Don’t complain about the price.
- Don’t ask for a discount because, you went to high school with my sister back in 1983!
- Don’t ask: If you order a smaller version will it cost less. (No, it just makes my job harder!)
- If we give you instructions on the care of your cake before you serve it, followed them!
