Florence has said in interviews that she wants children and her biological clock is ticking, but she knows that when she does her career will change completely. She’s also said it’s a lot of pressure struggling the thought of having children because a lot of times it’s considered a career killer. Her music is like the love of her life and her songs are like her children. Not to mention she’s also said that being on stage is like her church. I can only imagine how hard of a decision that is on any woman musician or actress.

The day the album released, she did a small concert for IHeart Radio, and holy shit the performance was phenomenal. Especially for this song.
Also, Ship to Wreck was written after she threw a party at her house and trashed it.
