she pulls those faces because if she didn't she wouldn't be able to sing the way she does god damn it this woman is the most important songwriter of our generation, don't infantilize her by calling her "cute"
D pedal! Don't you guys know nothing about harps! :- ) I was there in the front row and it was a wonderful show. I know people who still talk about it.
@fabiocostalima88 Actually she was having problems with her D pedal, something to do with it moving when it shouldn't. She asked the audience to call out "D Pedal" if they saw it move. So people kept calling it out for a joke. On a side note, she was absolutely phenomenal.
i love the performances from this show because of the fact that it's just her. great to see her without a band after the past couple tours. this is probably closer to what was happening when the song was written, and for that it feels like almost like a truer version. beautiful.
Its interesting how she sort of struggles to sing her older stuff. It seems to require her to sing in a different way. When she sings stuff from "Have One on Me," it seems so effortless and comfortable for her.
In interviews she has stated that her voice has changed as she has gotten older. It is now difficult for her to hit higher notes that she was able to sing easily when younger.
Because previously in the concert she mentioned that the harp she was playing that night had deep pedals. So he screamed deep pedals cause of the piano, stupid joke!
As much as I LOVE this song, this upload is painful. It's like looking at a Van Gogh through vaseline stained sunglasses or tasting Michelin 3 restaurant food with a numb toungue. Ugghhh. The noise and harshness of the notes, I know its nobodies fault, and I appreciate being able to watch her play. Even that ear jerker @ 04:52. Ouch. lol,.
God!... We love you, baby!...
She doesn't have Tourette's Syndrome! I don't know where you heard that. it's not true!
she's the best musician of the 21st century!!! i don't accept different opinions

koudelka a pretty adorable artist. Nothing wrong with being a kick ass songwriter and musician that's also cute as hell.
Amen.
effin cute though right?!
The guy at the beginning yells "B pedal!" which is an absolutely hilarious thing to yell at a harpist.
I think it was because she was having problems with the d pedal and had asked the audience to warn her about it or something.

Everytime I listen to her I just burst out in tears because it's so so so beautiful. Lyrically and melodically. Hardly ever have that.
her vocals are superb in this.

Chaoitcme she also had vocal surgery.
She can be an amazing songwriter who deserves respect and be cute.
What a beautiful angel
An old soul, timeless and eternal.
That woman is a prodigy, and that's all about the faces. It's rare because it's rare...
utterly heart-wrenching
California Woman. She is Totally Unique. Thanks for the upload.
such a beautiful performance. makes my heart flutter.
I just love the cute faces she pulls so much. Wonderful performance.
The woman making "proooo" sounds at the start always gets on my nerves a little bit. Which is a shame, because I like this video.
¡Me encanta! Es buenísima, muy muy buena.
Creo que necesitamos más mujeres como ella en la música de nuestra actualidad.
Great song.
astonishing
voice of an angel :-)
Masterful.
¡Canta precioso!
How about that livelong day?
Because previously in the concert she mentioned that the harp she was playing that night had deep pedals. So he screamed deep pedals cause of the piano, stupid joke!
i love how she looks like an old woman when she sings! that sounds terrible but i like it.
Awww ilh
eu vo explodiiiiii
she's so cute
But she is. You can't help being cute, genius or not.
please can someone tell me what the guy yelling at the beginning said? i couldnt understand
cron0 she mentioned her harp had pedal issues and the D pedal moved when it shouldn't, so she said to yell "D PEDAL!!" If it randomly moved
DAE think that when she starts singing it's actually something possessing her?
