I properly enjoyed watching this battle. Both party’s were excellent.... tony and I battled in the Mid 90’s and he was a force to be reckoned with back then and to see he is still at such a high Calibre now is testimony to his awesomeness.... bizzo bond was also brilliant and had some super schemes throughout .... thanks to all involved it was inspiring to see. Peace. Chester.P
Love to see you still taking in the battle scene , hope you are well! Your latest Verse on UA-cam was incredible.
Original Time Bandit! Your Itch FM is legendary.
Yea man I only heard of you like 2 moths ago.Thinking Lunar C was the only man that could rap like that. Big ups to your style and your latest dragons had its wings was phenomenal. Hope to see you do more in your own time 👍🏽
legend!!!!! ❤
C see
You write it, edit, delete some shit
Rewrite it, till he like it, and it seem like the peak has hit
Then he recites it, till it's locked in, and he walk around believing it
He's feeling it. It's more than that - he's living it, he's breathing it
Just to get on stage and.....rap it like he's reading it.
This was the moment of the battle for me and the reason why Tony's the GOAT. Craft.
If you dig into Tony [pause] you'll find a brilliant battle rapper. Dig some more and you'll find a wordsmith. But at his very core, he's just an excellent writer in terms of knowing the craft of writing. He's smart enough to know how to build tension and funny enough to pop it with a line like the one above which makes the room erupt.
He understands pacing, how the constant changing of gears makes for a more captivating performance. Bizzo, who despite having some belters in what was a brilliant performance, was in the same gear, with the same energy, for three rounds. That's why he lost 3-0 in my opinion.
Tony isn't the best battle rapper - he's the best writer and that understanding of the craft, combined with his wit, performance, delivery and ability to construct bars, is the reason why everytime he's up against a poster boy for the new school, the old school will win without question and that trend could continue until he's 60, in a few years.
It's peaks and troughs, ebbs and flows. Tony tells a story with each round. Not many do that. Illmac does it. Slowing your pace and rhythm draws the audience back in. Like you say, Bizzo was largely all at the same pace in the same register. Tony also has charisma in spades, which helps. And he can flip.
@@mikeypadventures both of these comments are so on point and well said. Tony has always had a poetic tone (excuse the pun) to his writtens and delivery. His inflections and timing is pro-level and shit like that really separates the good from the great.
Buut soul BODIED HIM tho. And that's the 1 battle I wanted 2 see him at his best.
Is that you tony
Sshhh
Bizzo needs to take note of Tone's approach here, the way that Tone uses a variety of styles and approaches is exactly what Biz needs to move to the next level.
3:0 to Tone
Bizz can only use the styles the people wrote for him
Tones attitude in a battle is great. Always vibing with the opponents bars. Can tell hes got legend experience
That 30 on the card rebuttal was fucking FIRE
what did that line mean
Long explo
In response to bond’s ‘put something good on the card’ small reach but saying he’s only interested in seeing tony TO SEE if he’ll actually turn up, the same way kids only open birthday cards to check for money
The rebuttal ‘slipped him a 30’ the speed and precision to take bonds angle and flip it to mean ‘I’m gonna kill you so bad in this battle you’d prefer a life sentence, easy 3-0 win’
Madness mate
@@lennard30 = 3-0, 3 to nil
🔥
Biz diamond pressure bar was also decent, Tony was too much for him.
Tony won with his experience in showmanship and delivery. Biz bars sick and smart but Tony too confident and has too much performance energy and controls his rounds like a master.
He countered a lot of Bizzo's material in bars with more amazing bars. Some even almost a pre-written rebuttal. It wasnt just the showmanship. that was the extra cherry on top of the cake but Tony came with mad bars.
nevermind all you mentioned. even just the bars were on another level
It is crazy that every round Bizzo get's better and harder in his angles and every round Tony D comes back and tops it with his flawless delivery, strategic angles, nonchalant energy and insane bars. Respect to those 2 mc's man. Im gonna watch it again.
"Its in your name B, I get to the middle and I'm catching Zs" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fucking crazy battle. Tony doing his thing and Bizzo boxing with God in a big way, 3-0 to the fans
3-0 to Tony too
One of the best battles we’ve seen in years - really unfortunate that the crowd took the absolute mickey. Everyone loves a good reaction, but these clowns are trying to give a running commentary on every bar. Can see both rappers getting frustrated when they just want to spit.
Tony D-ominated. Fans are right to cheer.
Thought the exact same, nice to have an atmosphere but fucking hell, for such a sick battle it was painful to watch at some points due to that.
Wasn't the crowd, it was clearly one dude and the mf should get out the way
Disagree the crowds reaction make this battle better every time I watch I look at it as appreciation for levels raised and fact is they do it for the reaction 👌 but I do agree with one of the best battles in years 💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Totally agree, difficult to watch. It's like the crowd want us to know every time they understand a bar. "Unanymous went anonymous" in the middle of a bar and there's a ten second reaction, and Tone needs to start the bar again. That's not even a punch. Let them flow.
Best tony ive seen in years, easily took every round I thought.
Bizzos writing is incredibly impressive at times, but I feel a lot of the long walks he takes don't arrive at a destination worth the journey.
Tony been on his game for the last couple of battles I've seen him do.
When Tony is as present in the moment as he is here, the best one can hope to do against him is to present a style clash that confuses a judge. Arguably unbeatable.
If he spits 3 rounds he don’t lose! 🤷🏻♂️
"Man stepped up for his flowers ,
ironically a rose for his death ",
Absolutely top draw fire Tony 💪
“Come out of the blue like a Smurf orgasm” is more 2012 Oshea than 2022 Tony D but I’m still 100% here for it 🤣🤣🤣
“I’m in his league, your on his league, see how I make a difference” 🔥🔥🔥
Tony back to back rebuttal in the 1st is crazy
Best battle I have seen in years, both top of the top, too many lines, head is blown! Respect to both Bizzo Bond and Tony D, everything equal until Tony Ds last which just had my eyebrows up all the time! So close tho, Bizzo is a huge problem internationally now wish him all the best he is solid and creative af. Well done Premier this is hopefully going to be a viral classic.
Fell out of UKBR for a while so this is my first time seeing Bizzo and he was crazy but Tone is just a different level. Might be my favourite performance from him.
These levels are what the UK needs.
"Oh you think you had the gold, well this is the acid test" 💥💥💥💥💥💥💥💥
Great battle and a great crowd. What more could you want?!
Bizzo Bond also amazing bruh. Crazy angles, delivery, pengame, wordplay, references/metaphors. Pff Premier Battles bringing back the quality from the UK!
I just put the zoot down and flex, the muscle memory of a few thousand reps, is fucking insane.
I was there and when I say these 2 put on a performance they was fire 🔥
So who won?
“FOUND OUT I SLIPPED HIM A 30” 🤯
(rebuttal 2 of 2) maddddd 🔥
Those flips at the beginning of Tony's first 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Bizzo's bar he spat about the chase was elite, but he was more like the contestant because he was facing a beast!
“You play a minor role, we major figures. I’m in his league, you’re on his league see how that ‘I’ make a difference”
WHAT😤🔥
Am I missing another layer to this line? I thought it was crazy when I heard it but reading your comment and how you've accentuated the 'I' makes me feel I'm missing a level to it.
@@gwarhnden yo I know this reply is like a year late, In/On. The I in in is the difference but its also Tony saying he's big enough to make a difference and Bizzo is just taking part 😅
I thought I might've been missing another layer aswell. I think I was just mishearing it as "see how the I make a difference" rather than "see how that I make a difference"
For me a straight 3-0 to Tony.
Bizzo was brilliant all 3 rounds but I felt no matter what he did Tony bettered him in his rounds. Probably the best Tony has performed in last few years.
The point Tony made about Bizzo being given the title for free is true because I genuinely feel had Unam been in a better headspace he's a different beast to Bizzo
Bizzo took the first. 2-1 Tony
I think this went a lot like Unan Vs Tony:
Unan/Bizzo on top form, giving 3 solid rounds that would be a problem for most battlers, only for Tony to edge it every round.
Both cases are light 3-0's in Tony's favour. Bizzo can be proud of his performance here and consider it a W in itself, but Tony was on form in this battle and when he's like that he's a top 3 in the UK Battle scene, in my opinion.
What a great battle. Happy to see Tony D giving a great performance and Bizzo is currently the most consistently great UK battler. I got it 2-1 Tony off the first watch, 2nd and 3rd
Genuinely really looking forward to this. Which is rare for UKBR rn
Oh my seriously this just made my morning forreal ..BATTLE OF YEAR.. ❤
Whenyou win the round with your two rebuttles, before you even start your bars.
Absolutely incredible on both sides. Bizzo had some insane material tone is just a different level of comfortable on his day, classic
Wauw. I'm only @ the end of round 1 (of Tony D) and what an amazing battle. Craaaazy flips, scheme's, wordplay, flows. Crazy levels from both sides.
Wow. Thank you both for this gem.
tone was absolutely clear. shows the standards changed way back. this really reinvigorated me into battling like before. unreal tony
Nah Bizzo came with it. Don't do him like that
Missed this tony been watching battle rap for the past 12/13 years and this feels like the old tony . Biz done his thing as well, tony just showed him levels 🔥🔥 if people like tony/soul/shox/quill got busy and brought this kind of quality back it would revive the UK scene 🙏
The Asterix bar🥶the Gaul🫡
Classic Battle. Tony D is the full package and has been consistent for years. Bizzo did very well. Love the UK crowd.
That body - wrapped up scheme from Tony is ridiculous 🔥
Bizzo gave it a good go, but Tony won. Hard to beat him in that form. I've watched his rounds 3 times now and I think this is one of his top 5 performances. Rewatching this I just caught more of Tony's Egyptian bit: Ra, Anubis, Giza, pyramid etc. Amazing stuff.
Ah man I'm loving the replay value of this battle, UK battle rap has finally come back this year
Been waiting for this to drop.
Absolutely did not disappoint 🔥
Bizzo and Tony both brought it!
Some of you been watching too much URL thinking you have to loudly react to everything you understand in a round. Fall the fuck back and let them rap, damn...
Great battle. Big up briggz and the team for keeping the scene on the map.
Tony 3-0.
Gutted to be on holiday September 10th looks incredible
😂😂😂
Damn! One of the best battles ive seen. Biz went hard in R1 and I thought he would take this battle but Tony gave one of his greatest performance and there were moments in R2 and R3 that honestly gave me goosebumps. BIZ went hard all three round and probably would have beaten anybody else except Uncle Tone. BIZ is superb but his delivery was considtently flat and but he has some outstanding bars. Its very hard on Biz but I got Uncle Tone 3-0. Thankyou for all involved this was a SICK BATTLE and i'll be coming back to watch it again and again!
Sick battle really enjoyed that one! Defo had Bizzo taking the first but Unc came out too polished in 2 and 3! The 3rd was quite close but Tone got that! 2-1 big up both battlers!!
30 easy.
Finally......UK battle rap is back to being world class. Thank you Bizzo and Tony for reminding me why I fell in love with this s**t 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I think this is one of the best written battles I’ve ever watched. Watch it back and every time it gets even better. Bizz is brilliant, but this might be the best Tony i’ve ever seen.
battle of the fucking year no question about it😤🔥
Really entertaining battle and some great bars from both guys.
Nice to see some old skool vets still putting in the graft too
Crazy angles from both sides man. Damn. Great writers.
The GOAT has demolished the best Prem have. He has beaten their master and just beat their young Jedi. The guy is unbelievable.
Classic battle right here. Deserves way more views.
UNCLE FUCKING TONE!!!!! Actually gets better CRAZY!!!!! He’s so crazy with the wordplay and the classic relaxed stoned swaggy delivery 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Tony D Savage
Tony does not age!!! Physically or lyrically. the man is a beast
Tony was unreal from start to finish, been a while since he's come like that
Battle was over and not even close before Tony started his written for round one.
Is this really the best the UK has left to stand up to Tony?
I'm sorry BIZZ, but this is a 30. But props to your effort. TONY D is a GOAT of UK BR
Man haven’t watched battle rap in years and didn’t know Tony D was still doing his thing. Very good battle but clear win for Tony
Bizzo’s rise has been nothing short of meteoric and all of his rounds hit hard. The Uncle/Father scheme was intense.
Problem is, I can’t see the sense of repeatedly sending your champs into battle Tony in the hope one of them makes it out alive. He’s just in a completely different tier, and it’s beyond him simply being reminiscent of a time when battle rap was more popular.
I genuinely think it’s better for the scene as a whole for Tony to retire at this point. I love his material and watching him perform but keeping this conveyor belt of rappers moving as they edge, one by one, into the mincing machine is depressing. Until another generational talent like Tony comes along (it could still be Bizz but it was too soon at this event) then I’d be sitting him on the bench.
Fair play to Bizz. He came out this better than most but as a fan, watching TD battle is like watching a Saw movie: somehow, inevitably, a body is getting caught.
I wouldn't even follow this league if Tony wasn't in it. It's fine for you UK guys to cheer on your up-and-commers but Bizzo is nothing special internationally. He does rap like he is reading it. He doesn't do anything that 5000 other rappers do. If you want international views, retiring Tony is not the answer.
You think Tony should retire because he's so much better than anyone else? That's an ridiculously underwhelming statement at best 😂
So should LeBron sit out? Maybe Bolt shouldn't have ran in the Olympics then years ago? 🤔
Considering Bizzo started at the lower end of the bottom tier and where he is now, he’s probably had the largest climb in UK battle rap history.
Fair play to the guy, that alone deserves applause.
I remember he started off well in "Rapped in Wire" or whatever the league was called - fell off for ages and now is back
@@b2466-d8x I’ll have to check out his older material again. With respect to him, he wasn’t memorable at all in his early days and was pretty much a background card filler.
Then you have the Anarchy tournament and he stomps his way through that out of the blue- at least from my perspective.
I never would have seen Bizzo climbing his way to top tier heights and giving Tony a fight. I think he got edged here, but I’d hardly call it a loss, he just got a Tony in top form that day and that’s a challenge for anybody.
TD slayed him
Don't know where he is now but Unanymous also started at the bottom, don't really like him as a battle rapper but respect where it's due.
@@MrShowbizben To be fair, Unan started at a point when the height of the scene was single syllable rhymes and mom jokes- everyone was shit, he was just a bit shitter.
Once the scene developed (I’m talking Don’t Flop more than anything else) Unan was climbing at a good pace and was a force to be reckoned with even if people tried to play him down.
Bizzo started off shit and completely unmemorable when he had contemporaries who started higher and/or developed and left him in the dust. He stayed that way for years and in the last few he’s had a meteoric rise. He’s basically a very late bloomer but he’s so far managed to climb from his low beginnings to undeniably top tier in the UK scene.
Overall I’d say Bizzo had the harder climb.
This has to be in contention for one of BOTY . Reminds me of “unstoppable force meets in immovable object” . Quality quality 🔥
If you know who wrote the Count of Monte Cristo then you know how slept on that bar was
That first line from tone lets you know he's back in form!
1st time i seen Tony was against eyez & he hit him with the "I'll make eyez Scream like ben & jerrys" guys a genius 🔥🥶🔥🥶
"Don't you know if you cross 'T' youve got to dot the I's (Eyez). Tonys mext level always has been 💯🔥
Can't believe it's taken me so long to watch this. Bizzo was sick but Tony just proved he's still the goat of the UK
still in the first round of Tony D... but man. just my perspective as an American: i see a huge abyss between Tony and every other UK battler. It seems like he's the only star over there, while the others are just white rappers coming off like rigid Eminems (most) or just jokes (though i love Oshea 'n Shuffle, lmao). Tone is smooooove. Pat Stay 'n Hollow level. You just can't touch that.
Bizz thought he was going to show up and take it, you could see his face dropping as the rounds went on and realised why Tone is that guy! He was bad still but the levels are clear.
This was a fire 🔥 battle, man. Both were cooking! Definitely one of the best battles of the year so far.
Brilliant battle. Could sense the respect between each other aswell
Just gets better the more you watch
Lovely match been waiting for this one, the game hasn’t been the same since Tony left
Loved the last bar he finished on
Tony’s just fire full package man
So glad to see tony still in it and still spitting fire. I knew he'd be back! Big ups Uncle T! Gentleman's 30. If Bizzo was battling any other battler on any other night he probably would have gotten the gents 30 himself.
Tony's 1st is some of the best shit I've heard in my life
Edit: 2nd round - This is some of the second best shit I've heard in my life.
Edit: 3rd round - Jesus man
yo and bizco was amazing. I can't explain Tony though.
this battle deserves WAY more shine. incredible.
Yea Tony's 2nd Rd was brilliant. Totally broke down his opponents style and why he's being gassed up by the crowd. Biz is decent but the crowd was acting like he was spitting the most incredible bars of all time
Easy 3-0 for Tony. Not that Bizzo wasn't good, but Tony was on his shit, it wouldn't have mattered what Bizzo came with.
Honestly the best Tony performance I can think of.
Tony is a challenge for any of these new ones. His word play is on a nother level like woooooooow.
Absolute masterclass from Tony. Levels above.
The energy in this is crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great battle, Tony had it for me but both put on a show
Im an outsider to this league, so a few references were missed but damn. What a fucking battle. 👌🔥🔥👏👏
Bizz was brilliant, tony d's weakness of lack of aggression though became his strength in this one cos he mixed timing with potency and cadency. bizz had rapid fire bars and schemes, tony d had bars punches and hayemakers. He negates uncle angles with his skill when hes focused.
The crowd pissed me off in this one.
Aside from the Chase punch the crowd is gassing a bag of absolute dogshit punches in Bizzo’s 2nd my days
Thank god he pulled it back in the 3rd
Agreed, weird crowd. They wanted to blow up for anything and got super hype over some meh bars. At least they recognized the quality stuff too though
@@AsiaDanceScene I mean don’t get me wrong I’ve been in a crowd gassing shit that really didn’t deserve it cos it was delivered slick, but aside from that Chase bar and the “Irishman walked into the bar” thing they’re all either corny as fuck or just plain awful
Never gassed a 90% shite round in my life
So glad to see this Tony back. Wish we could have gotten this Tony vs Soul.
Epic battle remindes me of the dont flop golden days. Hope this rap battle promotion blows up we need a high level uk battle league
Great Battle from both but Uncle Tone with the win for sure 🔥🎯💪🏿
My pronouns are that guy 🔥
Dope battle for both, Tony D always captivating and gives a great performance not used to watch Bizzo but dope too will rewatch
I didn't get Bizzo's "Nowadays if you spit three it's cos you're scared to" bar?
i think he meant free as in freestyle
@@lennard So he's saying if you spit a freestyle you are scared to spit it?
Tony D needs to hit the us market on rbe or smack I still think that's the ultimate test for a battler to take his game to a foreign place. I'm still amazed by his bars after 7 years following him
This battle is so fucking good
Thanks for this PB!
Great to see an energized and on point Tony again and both guys had come with some amazing bars.
Awesome battle, but I couldn't pick a winner, too many hard written lines from Bizz to give Tony a clean win.
DRAW.
Awesome battle! Loved this one.....
Ive watched this battle battle 3 times now , and I've understood and caught every bar , believe me bizz has come on so much his punches are bangers , but wow Tony stepped up and done himself proud , his punches were body shots til it broke bizz bonds ribs, the more you understand the more you see Tony smashed this and should of won ,
Personally don’t say this too often, but this is an absolutely CLASSIC 💯🔥🔥🔥
I wish Tony D would be booked @ KOTD/GTX/SmackURL....
He battled Real Deal on KOTD.
@@garethwalton3234 yes I know but i mean currently in this age
@@garethwalton3234 yeah lol, we all like to pretend that KOTD never happened...
He only shines when surrounded by cheerleaders ...will never happen
