I recently bought an Alumacraft Voyageur 175 from The Boathouse Of Anaheim in Anaheim Ca. I live in Vero Bch Fla and drove 2,600 something miles to pick it up and bring it home. This boat is everything I'd hoped it would be and more!! Its powered by a Yamaha 90hp Vmax. The quality of this boat is unsurpassed by any other boat I've ever owned. Thank you so much for putting this video on youtube so that I can see how & where my Baby was built!! In my opinion this is what it's all about being Made In America!!! Thank You Alumacraft for being as good as you are!!

Watching them apply that foam gave me nightmares. No wonder these boats have so many problems with water logged foam.

I worked at a dealership for Alumacraft for the summer of 2017. One of the best jobs I've had.

Enjoyed the video because I am an Alumacraft owner. Unfortunately they fail to include some of the simple things that would make their boats better. No drain to remove water from the deck. Compartments leak and have no way of draining. Everything is wet in every rain and the only way to dry it out is to open the compartments and remove everything to let it dry. Simply add a lip and gasket to the hatches and this problem wouldn't exist. Lights in the live wells but none in the storage compartments. It's a shame that I paid over $30,000 for a boat I have to modify to keep water off the deck and out of the storage compartments.

While I agree with your statement on wet storage, most aluminum boats are made the same. If you chose the Comp 205, you'd have the dry storage you are seeking.

I agree a simple lip and gasket would be great .

@@TheJjyoung333 Why not the whole series ? At least the 175 and 185 Comps are very popular . By the way not all aluminum boat s are made the same on wet storage .

Dry storage is a must, I now have second thoughts on alumacraft.

Really great boats but disappointed in the company for now having there smaller boats like there John boats being made in China now. I imagine a few people lost there jobs when that went over seas.

Stay away from riveted boat, it will leak eventually. Just say no!
