Wonderful, magic performance, ballet like, little miracle on ice.
I’ve been a fan of US ice dance since the 1990s. I have never seen a team like them. I can’t wait to see what they do in our very deep senior field of teams.
was thinking the same, with C/B phasing out soon and the rest of the ice dance field relatively young and close in age. it seems Carreira/Ponomarenko are moving up but there's no guarantee with all the great talent the US has. The quad leading up to the 2030 Olympics is going to be fun. Here's to hoping the couples can stay together until they reach maturity.
That’s the trick, staying together. Fun fact: only one US team has won both Junior Worlds and Senior Nationals with the same partner (Belbin/Agosto). The rest either didn’t win at JW or split up/retired as they went up the senior ranks. Here’s hoping this team can manage that. It’s going to be a crazy six years before 2030!

I would think so, cause their goal is to go to the Olympics and the Olympics are only two seasons away.

I think cordinating outfits would have added something extra! They are amazing! Loved everything else about them!
I've noticed the white shirt/black pants is kind of typical in pairs. Maybe it's supposed to be plain to draw attention to the woman's costume.
They started the season with coordinated costumes in blue and white but changed to this combo during the season - I think the design of this costume gave her more freedom of movement and made her stand out more - the gold material is very airy and showcases Leah's gracefulness Artem's costume allowed more freedom of movement also. They are such brilliant skaters!
I discovered this team when I was playing Virtue Moir videos for the hundredth time. I’ve loved their skating ever since. Very new, fresh and innovative. The only complaint I have is their bond to each other. I don’t get the same feeling that I do watching Tessa and Scott. You can tell in their faces the emotion and chemistry they have when they are skating. It looks like Leah and Artem are shy with each other. Maybe it’s because they have only been skating together for a short period of time and still getting comfortable with each other. I know that will come with time. They are beautiful to watch and will go far once they enter the Senior level. Much luck to them. I can’t wait for the 2026
Olympics. They should do well. Maybe not the podium but will grab everyones attention.
They are both so young, only skating 4 years together. In their interview after winning the Junior Grand Prix in December, Artem said that they were working on their emotional connection on the ice and that they felt it but it wasn't always visible. Such a bright future.
They won't be in the 2026 Olympics because Markelov still needs to obtain citizenship.
Putting aside the citizenship thing, ice dance senior is also so competitive. They still need time.
I never got that connection between Virtue and Moir although they were lovely skaters

Так большинство советских фигуристов уехали и проживают в Америке. Почему бы им не тренировать, а их детям не кататься? Вчера смотрю выступление американской пары, а тренер у них Мишкутенок 😎
@@Moronprodutions я проживаю в Америке и фигурное катание здесь очень популярно, особенно танцы на льду и пробиться на перестал очень сложно …нужно годами ждать своей очереди… Так что это не совсем так как вы думаете.

Ted saw Kaganovskaia. He has been commentating junior competitions, including all Junior Grand Prix stages, for many years (in fact, he was the author of the idea that ISU needed to show these junior competitions on their own channel and, subsequently, the creator of this channel), and he did commentate when Kaganovskaia/Angelopol were competing at the JGPs.
