I cant believe how many other channels in Portugal get help from Nick!! You are so generous with your time and energy and experience. You are an angel❤
Your determination and drive is always a weekly tonic to me and thousands of others!
You two are the hardest working UA-camrs ever!
Close...but no cigar! No one beats Martijn Doolaard.
I do enjoy both your wife and you, such hard workers, and so helpful to Laura & Dan. Your attitude is so positive, a shining example for all of us. Thanks for sharing your adventure!!!
The cladding looks so natural and pleasing on the eye, well done. I love your ideas. Watching your videos is always a pleasure.
You're moving right along there with your many projects. Your goats are very lucky goats.
Not only are you a tremendously good builder, you’re also an artist. I love to watch your projects.
Hi folks, I love the wood-cladded wall.👍 Max must have been chuffed with his new pad.❤
The young couple must so value your experienced guidance Nick. You both possess such generosity of spirit and kindness to others.❤
Changing the face of Portugal, one brit husband and wife team, at a time. Skill, hardwork, ingenuity, integrity, perseverance any intelligence! Love watching you both. Thank you.
That fence line looked mighty long. Most impressive! 💪💪😅
I love the cladding and whew, getting those posts in was a mammoth task. You are both such founts of knowledge and inspiration. Thank you for another epic post.
Was lovely to see you again and thanks for all the amazing advice you gave us :)
Glad to see you in good health. The cladding looks great.
I'm always amazed at how much work and ingenuity you give us to enjoy each video!
Hi guys! I have to say both Cristina and I absolutely love the look of the barn cladding. Brilliant job! I’m assuming it comes from a saw mill. I need some.
Secondly I’ve got running water envy. That’s such a great sound to hear. We have a stream on our land but it doesn’t run much. At the moment it’s just a puddle. Finally thanks so much! It’s an absolute pleasure being able to call you our friends. Keep rolling guys you’re doing a grand job. ❤😎👍🏼
❤️❤️😁
Max is going to be very happy with his new kennel
You are both SO hardworking and positive with multiple interesting projects that I really look forward to... and then I can settle back to enjoy your videos 😊
anything is more esthetically pleasing than concrete blocks!!!
The cladding is a work of art, good job.
I really enjoy seeing all the progress you make every week…it shows you are really living your best life!
So it was'nt a strawberry fool then but an orange one , I hope you are ok.. wall looks wonderfull take care you two..
Lovely cladding! Hard labour on the fence and hope the goats will remove the brambles around the orange trees and lemon trees. Urgently needed.
We love watching you from Oregon, USA. love your sense of humor and your hard work ethic! 😊
Like that wooden cladding very much, very natural. Its nice to see how you became a mentor for the yougsters, i also follow Dan and Laura. Love you all. greetings from Holland
Well done folks, looking health both of you, the fresh air and hard work no doubt helps. Have a great week😊
Wood cladding looks great but I am amazed at your progress on the fence in just a week!
Love you guys. Offcut cladding was very popular in OZ in the 50's. Love the rustic look of them. 🇭🇲🦘
Perhaps a brambles strimming party with your pals to free those citrus trees 🌳🍊🍋🌳
The goats will love the brambles ,great cladding 😊
The cladding looks great blends in. I've got to be honest Nick you made me laugh when you slipped on that orange 😂 only when i knew you weren't hurt xx
love you guys , your videos are never boring...!
Nick you are such a kind and hard working man just love you and Angie glad you help the foggies and laura and dan❤
Beautiful weather. Lots of fun content as usual. Thanks. 😍🇨🇦
I am exhausted just watching what you accomplish in a week.
I always love watching your videos and I appreciate your editing skills to mute the super noisy parts. It definitely makes watching more enjoyable.
Bom dia from Canada, excellent video. Always more work to do on the farm.
It's about time your subscriber # is going up. Best show as far as I'm concerned. NJ,USA
😂😂 both my husband and I cracked up with the weedeater fix, great lateral thinking love it!!
That will look great with the grape vines later in the year
I am with Andrea it is yellowier !
Well done with the cladding it looks fantastic.
Stay safe ❤
Word on the street is that those oranges taste mighty fine.
Hard working, funny and just great videos .... Much fun you both are , all the best to you
I love the wooden cladding.
Oh my pausing at 14:45 and am in awe how you can transform a brick wall into a beautiful warm structure!! Wto knew? I originally thought there would be plastering. But this look is so beautiful! Well done, and what a great way to do it! Master for sure. Sharing!
Nick the brambles scratched you up. Tough place to do fencing in, but you made it through. Turmeric looks interesting.
Love your spiffy new PPE helmet with protective mesh screen and ear protectors. Things that guard health are sexy, truly!
The cladded barn wall looks terrific. Will you be capping any hollows (like those metal beams) as well as rendering the corner ends of the cladding to discourage wasp or hornet habitat?
Whoo weee, that's a lot of fencing to do, but i love how you orgsnize your acreage to allow your grazers to do their thing in turn. In future it'll be fun to see the ducks annihilate any snail & slug populations. Did i thank you for showing the prcessionary caterpillar habitats being burned? Great work rechanneling the water that was flooding some areas.
Oh, lawd that fall!! I was (as always) so concerned for brains and eyes and teeth and elbows and knees 😲. [I've had lucky tumbles myself but the velocity is scary skiing, cycling, missing a stair, involuntarily flying out of the bath tub, etc 🙈.]
Nice tumeric 😊. Wow, this vid flew by again! 🤗
Great video once again and that cladding looks as if its a log cabin xx
Good job. The problem is that this wooden wall will be a good home for all types of insects and snakes.
And Gecko's 👍
I really enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing.
YOU are doing great ,love videos and looking forward to end results ,Cladding looking good also
Love the cladding and the turmeric xxx
The natural wooden cladding looks beautiful and that was a great fix for rhe strimmer blade.
The cladding looks wonderful!
Have a fabulous week you fabulous work horses❤❤ see you next week❤❤ stay safe, are you both recovered fully?
Not quite yet
Once again a project packed video! Oh how I would love to grow oranges where I am but it's a bit to cold in N. Georgia during the winter.
Nick and andrea time❤
Awesome vid guys! That fencing is hard work. The goats will be busy doing what they do best. 🙂👍👍🇨🇦
Just showed your post to my son who is a tree surgeon, his advice is you are one step away from a major injury. You really need to get some chainsaw trousers and boots, and carry a full chainsaw first aid kit
Hello from Alabama, USA. GREAT VIDEO. Your weather looks beautiful. Barn looks great. Keep up the great videos.
Tidy cladding job done ✔️
I have similarly huge brambles covering treees, slowly slowly finding them ..its no easy task
This is what people who have containers need to do
The cladding looks great! Have a great week! Laura ❤
Hi Nick n Andrea! Suggestion: While watching your videos I would find it helpful to see a map of the layout of your property. You have a fairly large property with lots going on, and it would be nice to know the orientation while watching your different projects. 😊 I always watch all your videos, I enjoy seeing your enthusiasm and many skills!!😄
Not sure that would be a wise move for security reasons?
Wow your land is beautiful.
Just love you guys. How and where do you get your drive from? You never stop!!❤
I haven't watched the entire video, but while this music is on, i wanted to THANK YOU for putting this Irish music in! What's the name of the songs? ✝️🙏❤🇺🇸🇬🇧🇵🇹⛵👣🍍🤗
Celtic in disguise and the Celtic flavour
@projectportugal Thank You!
Love the videos and particularly the turmeric recipes. I also liked seeing a bit more of the land around your house - what about doing a walk around your plot so we can see a bit more of the granite and the views?
always loving your hard work and achievements mind those oranges Nick, the Tumeric is always better when produced by your own fair hands. Thank you
Nice video as always! Love you guys. 😘
Thank you! 🤗
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys, good work guys 👍😁 maybe use the grinder for the coffee for your turmeric.
Love you guys!
Love your channel. By the way the shop bought turmeric may appear brighter and more yellow, BUT they often add a chemical to intensify the color. Forgot where I read this. But just know that there are no additives in your home made and wonderful turmeric!!
It smells so different
Hi Nick good to see your doing well your old work mate Ian friendship 👍👍
Hello mate, been a long time
Looks like your living the dream. I'm still doing forestry driving a timber harvester to old for a saw now 👍
@@user-ww9lx6sv7t know how you feel
Love your videos!
Y’all have been busy ! Thanks for sharing, love you two !
It’s because of project Portugal that I am tuned in to the fogies and all of the British connection community around Portugal . It takes a lot of time and hard work to renovate those stone buildings , if you can get the materials needed . That’s what I like repurposing or finding a different use . So sorry to hear about the loss of your bee colonies, will you replace them ? When are you going to renovate the box ? I truly do like the cladding , looks great . As usual another jam - packed video. How is that broken rib coming along after last week’s tumble ? Take care and many blessings .💕
All repairing well, yes we are probably going to buy 2 colonies of buckfast bees in the spring
One thing for certain ; neither one of this team is afraid of any task presented . Nicks tumble sounded really bad, just hey - ho let’s get on with it. What do you two do for fun ?💕
Omg Nick pausing at 37:00 can you stop hurting yourself in 2024!
The turmeric is ready for Andrea❤
I love the way you just lobbed the wood down as you started the barn cladding, Nick!😂😂😂❤ and a nice bit of Irish jig music ❤😊
Good work on the fence! Will the goats get rid of the bramble roots, or do they only get rid of the upper growth?
Goats eat the leaves and tender stalks, pigs will come later and eat the roots 👍😁
So sorry Nick? I hope you have not hurt yourself@
So glad you covered up those concrete blocks! 👍I'm not one to tell others what to do, but I sure don't like seeing blocks everywhere and am now smiling 🙂
The number of times ive landed on my butt or face first from treading on a rotten orange 🍊..you have my sympathies.
Nick, if you put a 2x2 at the top you would get a layer of air between the cladding and the wall that insulates just like double glazing.
When is Max moving into his new home inside the barn?
2 or 3 weeks
Thank you very much 👍👍👍
God bless you both 🙏❤❤
Excellent video. Make sure you keep your tetanus vaccine, up to date.
Nice to see you drop in on fellow Geordies Laura and Dan but to bring you "Bonding Agent" when the Toon is Full of Broon Ale is down right criminal. The cladding is wonderful and to think most sawmills sell it off as firewood, the colour of the bark sets it off in that beautiful sunlight infact almost the colour of Broon Ale, But I digress.
😄
It’s nice to pop in and see how you are doing every couple of weeks. I popped in to see your cladding video lovely work pat on the old back . I am hoping to do some fixing stone to my shed wall. Did you do a video somewhere on fixing stone to wall? Lovely video 😊
Just a couple of pieces, not long ago
It’s looking good
Hello there the cladding looks kool
Please can you tell me of some areas you think could be good that has good infrastructure to get materials etc I thinking of around the Fundão region cheers 👌. Any material you think could be useful to take with me diy or restoration building cheers your channel is very interesting
👍❤️
Hi Nick, l got very confused where you putting up your fencing. Could you one video have plan of your land.
Steve
Coming up soon
boom
👏👏👏😊
Lovely cladding! Could you use it to box in the metal poles/uprights?
a coffee grinder would do a better job on turmeric!
Nick - what are you going to do with all the stone sitting beside the wall? Will you have something (flowering vine?) grow up the wall? Max’s new home will have lots of curb appeal. 😍🇨🇦
Using for paving in various places
Currently, those off cuts kind of look like a bail of hay. Lol
Haven't you ever seen the pictures of goats climbing trees? I hope you don't have any trees near those rocks.
Be careful. The Nick and Orange Acrobatic Team will not be good for your bum!!! Put a plaster on your elbow.
Your strimmer hole hack is very intriguing; I like it! The blades will be under a lot of force, I guess, when it hits a stone or too thick a branch - I would love to hear how successful it is. Did you/will you weld or glue it with something magical like araldite?
No, if it's a washer I can use it on other blades👍
