@@_Tzer Isn't that non canon(ng+ mod)? But yea it makes sense. He could'e put on the ring for easier fights if he still had it, reducing the damage. Too bad it broke when he saw ariel destroying his home village

I love how in the fanmade New Game+ Luka can do this from the beginning, and all of the early game monsters just shit themselves before being obliterated.

And if they aren't obliterated they just immediately *GTFU!!!* Out of the sheer angelic might Luka gives off.
This franchise created an interesting trend of hentai indy games where "the plot" is replaced by THE PLOT before you even realized, suddenly the hentai of the game don't even matter any more (well... it keeps things spiced up and is always well received) and you start being more interested in the characters and story.
I can still remember there was a point, where I stopped caring about the Hentai and I began Marathoning the story, and every time I was defeated, I started mashing next.

Its around when late part 2 and then most of part 3 you fight more and more grotesque enemies that the game itself gives you no incentives to try and lose, they knew what they were doing and used it to enhance the experience, visually displeasing so you feel less interested on that so you get to focus on the ham story that is going down

Part 1 Luka: A plebby weakling who only makes it through his fights through luck and pity.
Part 2 Luka: Element weilding demon Swordsman. A proper fighter.
Part 3 Luka: ENRAGED ANGEL OF VENGEANCE THAT HAS ANY FOE HE FACES PISSING THEMSELVES. The elements bend to his whim, and he wields the might of Daystar, one of the most dangerous holy techniques ever conceived, which was created by his mother, the only Fallen Angel to ever exist and whose very name scared the ever-loving shit out of Heaven's hosts.
Talk about Zero to Hero. Though in this case, perhaps Zero to God Slaying Demon of Destruction would be more accurate....
You forgot to mention that his ancestor is a guy who literally said "500 really dulled my skill" after oneshoting an angel without even leaving a trace of his sword leaving it's sheath.

God damn I know Plansect Village isn't the only place this theme place but my goodness I will never not live the Plansect Village arc. It's easily one of my favorite arcs in the game
When somehow his anger channeled to the player, so does the player is angry with Luka.

Luka is technically part alien due to ilias not being from earth

Its incredible how the scene that managed to burn itself into my mind related to this song is when lukas confronts ilias after fighting alice, and he just starts to casualy side step ilias judgement thunder like its nothing....

It is, this music is used both during the Planesect Village arc and during the Revengeance arc.
Altough there is a difference to be honest: when Luka goes berserk during the Planesect Village's war, he still has his Mother's Ring on, therefore he doesn't unleash his divine strenght, while he does indeed use it during the Revengeance arc: The explaination has been given in one of Torotoro's tweets, specifing how the ring can decrease Luka's powers, but it cannot stop them completely, since otherwise it might actually kill Luka should he be in need of them before knowing their correlation with the ring.
