- AS of December 2023, the Immigration Department of Malaysia will require foreign nationals to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia.
Except: 1. Singaporeans 2. Malaysian permanent residents and Malaysia long-term pass holders, including Employment Pass (EP) and MM2H (Malaysia My 2nd Home) pass holders 3. Those with Brunei common identification certificates and Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility, holders of Thai border passes and Indonesian Cross-Border passes 4. Diplomatic passport holders
Those transiting/transferring through Malaysia without seeking immigration clearance do not have to submit the MDAC.
Step 1. Complete and submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 3 days before arrival, except permanent residents and long term pass holders
Step 2. For first time users. Enrol and verify your passport at the manual immigration counter.
Step 3. You are now eligible to use the e-gate (autogate) for departure after successful first time registration.
For subsequent visits. Submit the digital arrival card within 3 days prior to your arrival in Malaysia. You can now arrive and depart using the Malaysia autogate.

Hi... There's no need for hardcopy of MDAC.. Just register for it.. Most probably they won't ask you to show.... They'll get to know your MDAC registration on scanning your passport itself
Hi my departure from India is on 10.15 p.m on 15th and arriving KUL on 16th. Should I mention the arrival date as "15th" or 16th in the MDAC registration

Most probably they don't ask. None of us were asked.. For a safer side, better to have some cash in hand if they ask you to do so

Hi. If you don't plan to stay in a hotel during your layover, you may still need to provide temporary accommodation details on the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC). In such cases, you can mention the name and address of a location you intend to visit or a central area in Kuala Lumpur. Please select the option "OTHERS" under drop-down of "Accommodation of Stay" while mentioning any one of the places you visit.

Hi. Yes. We have checked. There's no option to register a single MDAC for multiple entries. So we need to register it separately for subsequent entries

Hi. You can just mention the place you are going to visit by selecting the option as "OTHERS" from the drop-down.
They don't usually ask to show the money in hand. If incase they ask, you can show them the Dollars you've in hand.

Hi.There is no option for group registration for MDAC. It has to be registered for each one of them.

Some people they may ask for show money around 2500 ringgits.

They haven't asked us to show money. But it's better to have some amount of money in Ringgits to show them during immigration clearance if they ask you to do so
