Thank you for making these kinds of videos. I am trying to break into the industry and have been trying to find classes as well as auditions. keep it up, I love hearing how far you have come and resources you have used!
Just found your channel. You have a lot of really good advice, and I like that your videos are not too too long. You are absolutely adorable, thank you for your help and advice. I really appreciate it.
Thank you for these tips! You're super transparent! It's much appreciated by someone like me who is brand new yet very serious! Also, many congrats on all your success!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing all this! I have actor friends in the industry who've tried to be helpful since the pandemic with landing/switching agents when they have a moment from their packed schedules. Asked around on Reddit about how many/too many agency submissions--??? But not always the greatest responses from some lol. GREAT to know about Demo footage, submitting---waiting lol, and newer headshots! ♥
i hope this helps! i talk about how you can be auditioning from anywhere now! & how to get an agent even if you don’t live in a huge acting hub:) you’ve got this!
Hi! I’ve never taken professional acting classes I’ve only done shows and musical theater at biola youth theater. I was just wondering if that counted for something? I wanted to see if I could audition for the second season of the new Percy Jackson series. They had an open call for the first season but idk if they will for the second season.
sis I am from Bangladesh. But I want to work in HBO,Netflix etc.I dont think if I join acting classes in my country ,I can get chance there. What shall I do to get job for acting like those famous platform? 5:41
i have an agent but i didnt do classes. not all agencies require it (even though its a huge plus) but I have acting credits & that was enough. Some agencies are okay with you just having a photo of you and reading a monologue
1. Do improv. Most places have drop in classes for even $5. It helps you get out of your head and free you up 2. Read books and study great actors. Do character analysis for fave movies. Watch plays. 3. Submit for a commercial agent and hopefully once you book, use the money to fund acting 4. Do paid background acting to make money and learn on set 5. Join a group for cold readings or roundtable play readings
I have a very, very important question, so please answer! I live on an island, which is a country and is far from any big audition places or sights. I am also a minor still in school. How can I start my acting journey when I alr have everything prepared for audition?
make your own content, do theater, or find work in your area. upload your work to imdb, see if you can do any remote (at home) work for credits. But, if that doesn't work, record yourself reading a monologue and submit to some USA sagaftra agencies that accept international submissions, even though you usually need extra paperwork to sign with them. See if you can find talent agencies in your island btw
would you maybe suggest to the actor to just use Backstage for themselves and maybe let their agent use actors access? I just made an account for Actors Access, I don't like how it looks/runs but I can make it work fine. Just wondering if juggling both apps/profiles is really worth it? Love the vid btw! :D
HIIII, Im Aamani and I'm an aspiring actress, 14, and I live in Calgary, which is kind of a small city. Do you have any tips about getting larger gigs and auditions while living in a smaller area? Thanks!
make your own content. if you cant, just use backstage/actors access and audition from there. OR, record yourself reading a monologue and submit to talent agencies (preferably SAGAFTRA if ur American) near you
As someone who’s been acting for 7+ years, I recommend starting with musical theatre or theatre classes because their classes range from all levels, if your in high school you can also join a high school class! Film classes are also great!
Is it better to just hire an acting coach or go to acting classes. I’ve been thinking of just hiring a private coach but I really don’t know please help.
My son is signed with a smaller local agent who offers an opportunity to go to NY to be in front of a larger agent. U have to pay $1600 to register plus ur own room and flight. Is this normal or scammy?
thats a scam, if youre in the USA, find a SAGAFTRA agency near you cause they don't require you to pay, even though you'll sometimes have to cover travel expenses.
@@iven_editz you know, the whole several supporting roles in Hollywood films, teleseries, yeah 👍😁 the deal wherein quick Google search has me listed with various credits as an ACTOR .... HhhHhHhhHh

what if I don't have money for acting classes😭😭

Hey Audrey, thanks for the tips!! Do you have some recommended acting studio/ schools in LA? Maybe ones that your friends go to?

Hey um can I get to an actor agency in the US even if I don't live there please? There's no actor agency where I am
Hey Audrey! Thank you for your videos!! I would liek to know what is your agency!?
I have a very, very important question, so please answer!

I was wondering if you need to have acting classes to get an agent
omg you drive all the way from Virginia to in-studio
yesss they’re so worth it!
It’s definitely been worth the drive!
Thank u so much!
Who did you do your demo reel through?
HIIII, Im Aamani and I'm an aspiring actress, 14, and I live in Calgary, which is kind of a small city. Do you have any tips about getting larger gigs and auditions while living in a smaller area? Thanks!
where near virginia did you take classes?
Do you need to be SAG to get an agent?
I want an agent before acting classes. Is it possible
So did you get your agent through talent access or something else?
hi ! how much are you paid for a role ? is there agent in London ?
are acting classes in school okay as well? I take theater class and I learn techniques for acting.
Every little helps.
I dont know if I can of acting and sports can you help me
I’m in Virginia too trying to get started 😊
I am trying to become a actor but I’m pretty young so do you have any tips for young struggling actors?
make your own content. if you cant, just use backstage/actors access and audition from there.
OR, record yourself reading a monologue and submit to talent agencies (preferably SAGAFTRA if ur American) near you
What kind of acting classes and where should I go for these?
As someone who’s been acting for 7+ years, I recommend starting with musical theatre or theatre classes because their classes range from all levels, if your in high school you can also join a high school class! Film classes are also great!
What if you live in canada
look through ACTRA agencies near your area and see if you can find one that fits you
Is it better to just hire an acting coach or go to acting classes. I’ve been thinking of just hiring a private coach but I really don’t know please help.
it doesnt really matter tbh, if you have access to a private coach, do that

no agent should ask you to pay, that means they aren’t making money if you are having to pay
thats a scam, if youre in the USA, find a SAGAFTRA agency near you cause they don't require you to pay, even though you'll sometimes have to cover travel expenses.
would you recommend backstage or actors access?
both are great!!!
Actors Access bc it's more professional and the roles are bigger. Backstage also costs more. but they're both good
I have no confidence cuz I live in England.
Thanks!😂
tower casting
Hi how are you are you getting acting jobs? Nic nak
me living in bulgaria... I am dead dead🥲🥲
Your 'acting' is really really unremarkable, more or less inauthentic
What have you ever done related to acting? You wouldn’t even know.
@@iven_editz you know, the whole several supporting roles in Hollywood films, teleseries, yeah 👍😁 the deal wherein quick Google search has me listed with various credits as an ACTOR .... HhhHhHhhHh
@@iven_editz you know, the whole auditioning and landing acclaimed roles in Hollywood....stuff like that 😆
