You can technically say Hayabusa R.I.P. was in WCW/nWo Revenge, but it's not the same as him actually being licensed and paid for being in a U.S. game. Naturally, I hope his family gets the fruits of his labor. Great to see Mortis/Kanyon R.I.P. return to a Pro-Wrestling video game in the U.S. Hell, even Barbarian makes a return after last being in Revenge

I feel like all LOW was missing was better move sets for each wrestler. They gave each wrestler 4 front grapple types with 4 moves but everybody only actually had 1 or 2 per type.
@wesleysteeleiv it's bc it ran off the old Acclaim engine, with SOME tweaks. There was A LOT missing from The Legends of Wrestling Series of video games unfortunately. It was such a great idea though. I'm hoping this game is the evolution of LoW. Maybe a "No Mercy and LoW hybrid"
Man if they had licensed music, that would be CRAZE!! Hell if they have awesome covers of those songs, it would be awesome. And yes, the Brood entrance would be RIDICULOUS
With the exception of Cardona, and Warhorse (who I don't care for), that DLC list was mega impressive. I've posted this, but I like how the DLC crossed Eras very well. A lot of these guys could have crossed paths and wrestled each other easily had they been in the same place at the same time. Some of them were in the same places. That's pretty f****n awesome.

What about the bag being an item you can pick up, and at the cost of a Special, you can sic the snake on your current target. Kinda like Guapo in Far Cry 6.

The gameplay of fight forever is noice... Aki style with Modern touch.. but there is nothing else to do in the game .. no game modes... Terrible career mode... Also the matches end way too soon 😢
All the DLC wrestlers are cool but I hope it's not priced too high. Also a CAW is going to be a big factor in this game surviving. They showed some alterations you can do but people are going to want to make current wrestlers. It'll be tough to get people caring about Bill Dollar.

I watched like the first bit and i was like. Yep they nailed it pack it up and ship it. They understand the how to make the impact and make animation sitffness to work in their favor. Its really nice and the sounds effects are great.
I'm sold on a lot of what I saw in this short video. No doubt. No 🧢 The movement so far, the way the mat and the ropes move on impact. The cartoony look even. I'm excited to see what other tweaks, what other things they add etc as they continue the process of making this game. I truly hope this game plays great and is successful.

@@PontFlair if it's aki the controls are simple, they didn't show much from the CAW showcase, Action Arcade Wrestling has one of the most indepth CAW suites (but you can only experience it on PC) if this game has 1/2 of that is going to be good

Seriously!! I don't remember which Japanese games she appeared in previously. But I KNOW she was never in any Pro-Wrestling games in the U.S. Which is an outrage bc despite the language barrier and the fact she barely wrestled in the States, she IS influential. And an inspiration for a lot of women's wrestling today (the ones who do it right).

Whether jumping off "Bret's rope" or jumping off the tope rope, I'd love to see more movement from the turnbuckle pads and ropes as the wrestlers jump off of them. Incorporate some of the things from the Wrestle Kingdom series as far as rope movements, ref interaction, etc *Love what I've seen so far.*
*2:42* I wish when you did moves too close to the ropes, the opponent bounced out of the ring, bounced back and/or botched. That would be a cool feature.
No the trailer we put out a few months ago wasn’t an AKI mod. It’s was captured in unity and is the same engine shown here which has been completely built from scratch.
Honestly if all of them were base roster that would sell the game for a lot of people . But the fact that the game has original characters will probably throw people off
I've learned my lesson, I was hyped for 2k23 and FF but they weren't what I hoped for in a wrestling game. Don't get me wrong they are good games, it's just something was missing. The best wrestling game imo is still No Mercy! But this does look good! And I always wanted to play as Hayabusa
Hayabusa is on some Japanese wrestling titles. Not sure of all of them, but I know he's a playable character in Wrestle Kingdom 2 on ps2. Made by Yukes. Played like No Mercy/Def Jam Vendetta/Day of Reckoning 1 and 2, but w/o the match types like Steel Cage, Ladder, etc. His character was definitely a pretty good simulation of him w/ his look and moveset. R.I.P. Hayabusa
No Mercy clone?...Shows how legendary it still is. I thought it was more looking like a Legends of Pro Wrestling sort of deal (the movement animations looked wooden like that game :P ).

Movement-wise, I'm gonna say NO... Graphically though? I think I'm gonna say YES!! It does. Objectively, it 100% does. An AEW Stan can say whatever they want, but objectively speaking, you can't really say no

Any possible that we have Meng/Haku ? see Barbarian but without Meng/Haku is like missing something. 😅 2 Cold Scorpio in this one is like Friendlier version of Stevie Ray 😄And I like it. Buff Bagwell teeth also makes him look like White version of Blade. I actually love Crowbar posed and art in this one. Looks like someone who caught in Mortal Kombat war in Earthrealm. But only his trusty pipe and Crowbar can bash anyone who get in his way very effectively.
Its actually very cool to see the Powers of Pain together in a video game. Warlord debuts in a game after years of the genre existing. 2 things I know about Warlord. One, he was a bodyguard for 50 Cent/G Unit at one point and he tried to get with my brother's friend, who was scared to death LOL Knowing what I know now, that guy should have been left behind for Warlord to have his way with. That said, the game has both Ax/Masked Superstar and Smash/Krusher Krushev in the game, be cool to see Faces of Fear Barbarian with Haku/Meng as a team. There's different versions of Bryan Clarke as well, so why not Barbarian and others too?

I like that game developers are making their own wrestling games and signing on willing Indy talent and legends willing to participate.
I'm stoked for this game man. AKI engine games are just so timeless.

Every base character is editable just like in the AKI games. Our goal is a sandbox wrestling game :)

The reason why fire pro still sells even with it's complex controls is because you can create literally any wrestler in the world living or dead

Fire pro has a weird learning curve. It's super rough at first but you can master it fairly quickly

And see more movement to the turnbuckles as the wrestler/wrestlers climbs them.
Whether jumping off "Bret's rope" or jumping off the tope rope, I'd love to see more movement from the turnbuckle pads and ropes as the wrestlers jump off of them.
Incorporate some of the things from the Wrestle Kingdom series as far as rope movements, ref interaction, etc

*2:42* I wish when you did moves too close to the ropes, the opponent bounced out of the ring, bounced back and/or botched. That would be a cool feature.

No the trailer we put out a few months ago wasn’t an AKI mod. It’s was captured in unity and is the same engine shown here which has been completely built from scratch.

Honestly if all of them were base roster that would sell the game for a lot of people . But the fact that the game has original characters will probably throw people off
They even have a HFG Man in that roster (in tribute to AKI Man).
I've learned my lesson, I was hyped for 2k23 and FF but they weren't what I hoped for in a wrestling game. Don't get me wrong they are good games, it's just something was missing. The best wrestling game imo is still No Mercy! But this does look good! And I always wanted to play as Hayabusa

Hayabusa is on some Japanese wrestling titles.
Not sure of all of them, but I know he's a playable character in Wrestle Kingdom 2 on ps2. Made by Yukes.
Played like No Mercy/Def Jam Vendetta/Day of Reckoning 1 and 2, but w/o the match types like Steel Cage, Ladder, etc.
His character was definitely a pretty good simulation of him w/ his look and moveset.

I thought it was more looking like a Legends of Pro Wrestling sort of deal (the movement animations looked wooden like that game :P ).

Legends + No Mercy controls would sound cool though.
@pjludda4323 these guys are Legends. Mid-card talent, even wrestlers who "jerked the curtain" can still be legendary.

@@PontFlairhonestly I was really disappointed with the graphics and art style they went for with Fight Forever. The game plays pretty well but you can't deny its a pretty ugly game.

2 Cold Scorpio in this one is like Friendlier version of Stevie Ray 😄And I like it.
Buff Bagwell teeth also makes him look like White version of Blade.
I actually love Crowbar posed and art in this one. Looks like someone who caught in Mortal Kombat war in Earthrealm. But only his trusty pipe and Crowbar can bash anyone who get in his way very effectively.
Its actually very cool to see the Powers of Pain together in a video game. Warlord debuts in a game after years of the genre existing.
2 things I know about Warlord. One, he was a bodyguard for 50 Cent/G Unit at one point and he tried to get with my brother's friend, who was scared to death LOL
Knowing what I know now, that guy should have been left behind for Warlord to have his way with.
That said, the game has both Ax/Masked Superstar and Smash/Krusher Krushev in the game, be cool to see Faces of Fear Barbarian with Haku/Meng as a team.
There's different versions of Bryan Clarke as well, so why not Barbarian and others too?
