Beautiful collection ! Believe it or not , Monogram Canvas was not LV’s original print. The original print was Damier Ebene , Monogram came later and was designed by Louis Vuitton’s son ,he designed it to try and stop replicas , sadly his efforts did not stop the counterfeiters.....today it is the most replicated and recognized canvas in the world ! I am a fan of all 3 canvas’ but I do gravitate towards my monogram canvas bags a lot more on a daily basis for sure ! I love vintage LV ! I just got a great deal on a vintage 1997 Montsouris GM in great condition and I am really enjoying carrying it ! Thanks for sharing your collection !
I wish more people would do this type of thing - don't throw everything out, especially if you really love it or loved it! Clean it, restore it! You are always very inspirational, thank you!
Especially now as the prices of these bags keeps going up! I refuse to buy new. OTOH, I’ve noticed that the pricing of pre-loved has risen considerably as well!😉
I just got into vintage LV. I have a Speedy 30 and a Petite Bucket. I realized how light they are. I switched to another brand purse for awhile and it seemed so heavy. I agree with you on the price. I want a Noe too.

I’ve been carrying.. saving.. buying and selling Louis Vuitton for 20 years.. it’s getting harder and harder to get my hands on it pre loved in the condition I like it in. I find that when I want to sell a bag, to purchase one I’m lusting over.. I never get my money back. Then I have to save more to get a bag that ALWAYS costs more. It’s exhausting! I now only have 3 in my collection.. love this video:)
Honii-One year! One. Year! I’ve been searching for a LV Noe bag. The price New is way out of reach at the moment and the pre-owned prices for junk condition is ridiculous!!! I completely get you!!!!😉

I bought her about 5 years ago from a consignment shop from the LV store - her top handles were very darkly stained from heavy use and I did my best to clean her up with Apple Leather products, and there was minor improvement because of her age. The canvas and interior are in good shape with the exception of one small spot of wear on the bottom. She is well loved as I wanted her so bad back in the 80;s but went through a divorce and was struggling. So many years later this old gal loves this old bag!
Correction - bought her 5 years old from a consignment shop and took her to be authenticated at the LV store. They said she was real but the zipper had been replaced with a non LV zipper, so they would not work on her to replace the leather. I love her for being perfectly imperfect just like me!
