I’m biased towards ableton so when they release a feature, it’s the most exciting thing ever, even if it’s already been a thing on other DAWs for years (kind of like every iPhone update 🤣)
If you have used it more you probably know its MIDI capabilities. Is the Pitch Bend editor good? The one in Traction Waveform absolutely sucks. I have the free version.
I’ve used ableton since 7 so I’ve seen the progression. It’s such a powerful DAW. Specific to your pitch bend Q, not entirely sure what you’re comparing to + what you don’t like about the pitch bend in ableton currently-hard to say if it’s “good” or not. I personally don’t have an issue but I don’t frequent pitch bending. The automation editor in ableton is great.
@@Etianne.MoralesI mean that I have DAW (and version) called "tracktion WAVEFORM FREE", whose pitch bend editor is such where your only option is to draw points with a pen which it strictly follows. It doesn't smooth them out at all so that feature is basically useless except for some very specific usecases.
Ohhhh sorry mate, misread your comment. If that’s the case, ableton’s autmation tool is great. You can do the drawing option + manually selecting areas, can create specific types of bends, etc. really solid
You can definitely argue all DAWs are the same and can achieve the “same” result of a song. But for electronic music production, ableton is the stand out DAW in my opinion.
This is a cool feature, no doubt. But also, Reaper has had it for years.

I can always tell when isn’t good at making music buy saying bs like this, there is no best DAW
