@@enisguitars3676 That 2nd eq on the jp2c would come in mighty handy. Then MIDI capability is a bonus as well. But it's not enough to part with my mark V. I put a 12at7 in V6 and I like it very much after that
In a blind test if I dial them both the same I really couldn't tell the difference. There is slightly more width in a low end on jp2c, but not a lot. Those main EQs on Mesa amps can really change the whole sound picture with just a small adjustments. If I had the gig tomorrow I would bring Mark V. Cheers.
The Jp2c is an awesome amp, the deal breaker for me is it doesn't have a master volume. That is a major pain in the ass when you are sound checking at a gig before tou go on and the sound guy tells you to turn down. Essentially you then have to turn down all 3 channels evenly really quick as time is of the essence.
I didn’t think it was possible to make them both sound bad, but here we are!
Ok
Great video! If you ever want to part with that mar 5, let me know!
Thank you!
Love it...PS If you ever feel the need to sell that lefty Music Man - get at me!!!
Thank you! Actually I might sell it. Send me an email dorasxx11@gmail.com
Very similar! But I would love to have the JP2C over the MV
Any specific reason? In terms of different options mark V has so many of them. The only thing that jp2c has over mark V is midi capability

Exactly
Cool! Besides versatility of the other channels, lead vs lead, what are the differences to you and what do you prefer? Cheers!
