How can you prevent the gold from turning brown?

Just make sure the gold does not make contact with any liquid substance. This includes water, hair spray, oils or even steam from a shower.

Hey 😊. In my opinion no. To me cultural appropriation is when you imitate a culture outside your own for financial or social gain. It also extends to minimising the value of the practice or posing the culture as your own.
If you just want to look cute I’d say go ahead. As long as you are cognisant that it originates from black culture.
