I’m so triggered by the fact that Stentric didn’t see the boost button for the first two games 💀
I need to know how does blud not see the boost button that is triangle 💀

the fact that you had 3 boosts stashed up complaining that you couldnt pass that guy hurt me physically
i would recommend looking at rocket racing tips and tricks videos if you continue rocket racing because thats how they mainly helped me get from silver to gold (im now in diamond 2)
also make sure to play the rocket racing tutorial stuff (you can find it by going to the map selector thing and switvhing to tutorial) because it teaches you core mechanics
also whenever you boost, the triangle button will pop up again and flash rapidly, when that happens be sure to press triangle cause it gives you a double boost that brings you from around 700 kph (initial boost) to around 900-1100 kph depending on your speed
at the start, instead of waiting for the timer to finish, start accelerating when the green light shows on the 4 circles countdown because the closer you start accelerating to that green circle popping up, the faster you will go at the start of the race
if you trail behind other players' cars you can slipstream off of them and get a speed boost which serves as a comeback mechanic, but as far as im aware there's no visual cue to determine when you've gotten one or not
if you feather your jump button you can fly over higher and further distances
these aare just a few basic tips but i hope they help
You can't imagine how difficult the later maps are in the later ranks

Tips for rocket racing:
There are four mechanics
1: Turbo. Turbo is boosting. You have to gain enough speed to fill the Turbo meter. You can press the triangle button to activate turbo.
2: Jumping and Flying. You can press A to jump. You can hold down A to fly.
3: Drifting. You can drift around corners to get a speed boost. The longer the drift, the longer the speed boost. You can also drift to fill up your turbo meter quicker.
4: Air dodge. You can air dodge to flip into walls or ceilings.
I recommend you do the tutorial first. You can search up to find the tutorial.
Also on rounds there are green things on the ground or ceiling. Going over them gives you a speed boost. Also you can play private matches or ranked matches. You were playing ranked. At the menu which shows your placement there is a thing that says Ranked Recap. Go over to that place and you can see your rank.
The ranks are:
Bronze
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Diamond
Champion
Elite
Unreal

Drift to get the speedboosts faster, hold drift longer than you think, and practice a lot
It honestly made me upset bruh 💀 like how do u not see it it's right there
I really enjoy this type of racing. It is very different from anything else I have played In the past
It started feeling sweaty for me around silver three. I'm currently gold two, but this is probably my favourite mode out of the three new ones. The competition definitely ramps up.
