OMG! I watched that documentary with the family you talked about with the young girl was killed. Such a tragic story and heartbreaking to watch on that documentary. Never forgot that family.
Listen to the song "Honolulu City Lights" when you fly out... they used to play it on all flights leaving Honolulu. My dad was born and raised on Oahu and the island is a VERY special place, especially the North Shore.

From Hawaii, and I think the seaweed/sesame seed seasoning you’re referring to is furikake, which is super yummy on rice. And the spam treat you’re talking about is spam musubi, which we loooveee. They definitely should sell furikake in LA at a Japanese market like Mitsuwa.

Omg my kids and I have had this cough for weeks and weeks!!
OMG my son too who is thirteen n he has the same cough. He was sick feels fine n has this lingering cough that is still there. After three weeks it's not contagious anymore n antibiotics won't help they say. There calling it the hundred day cough or whooping cough n u can get them vaccinated for it cus a lot of kids missed it due to the pandemic or let their antibodies fight it off but I am over it. So relatable cus it's my life right now. Lol.

I love this podcast soo much! The only thing I’m gonna say here is that I think people definitely DO still care about the Scandoval situation. What he did to Ariana resonated with sooo many people across the world! While cheating and mistresses may be normalized for people with faster lifestyles in LA or NYC, it’s definitely NOT for the many small town people who watch the show. While you have your own dynamic, I can see why the rest of the world may never forgive both Tom and Rachel for what they did.
