- Hey everyone! I studied abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong last semester. I filmed a Day in my Life back in October and just got around to editing and posting it. I tried showing a little bit of everything, from the classes to my internship to nightlife in LKF! I had the best four months abroad and made lifelong friends. Hope this inspires you to study abroad!
I'm from Taiwan so I speak Mandarin and just finished my master degree in U of I!! So we can kind of relate!

Do u have to be good at chinese in order for u to study at hong kong??

Hey idk if you'll ever see this, but I was wondering how you applied for daisy li hall as an exchange student? I saw on their website theres like this weird point based system for applying for halls...did you have to go through that??

Do you speak Chinese? I’m really interested in studying the JD in law at UCHK but not sure if I can afford to 😂 how much is tuition and accommodation?
If you applied already (deadline for regular decision is like end of this month) you should be considered for scholarships regardless. According to the Expense calculator an international calculator the cost should come up to about HK$190,000 for an international student living on campus, but of course its always better to plan with a figure above that. Just check out the website it should help a lot in your decision making process

CUHK is so far from the fun parts in Hong Kong but your view of the city is amazing compared to the one I had at CityU!

I’m completely shocked by the lack of privacy in your dorm! Even in HS when I was in boarding school, my room looked more decent with more space between my roomies. It’s sad that they do that!
