hey! an important thing to keep in mind when knitting is to keep the tension pretty consistent throughout --- so tighten the thread a good amount when you start a new row!! bc manipulating it loosens the last stitch of the previous row hopefully it'll keep your next project from getting all warped wide :D

Wow, I just wanted to say I love your illustration, the diversity, detail and characterisation of them, creates such a narrative, even in the drawings of mundane actions. They don't shy away from imperfection or hide behind extensive line art. I think I'm in love.
I so enjoyed watching this ❤️ I went to university in Plymouth too and watching this made me so happy. I recognised all of the places and religiously went to the same coffee shop and charity shop lol

I love your creative style and the way you explore various mediums rather than only participating in one. I forgot to say the easiest way to add extra stitches accidentally in knitting is forgetting to take your stitch off after you've knitted in to it. It just takes practice.

hello! i liked your video it was really of relaxing. regarding the knitting i’m not really sure exactly what you’re doing wrong or if you figured it out but don’t skip stitches that could unravel! i had the same issue of widening when i first started, now i’m pretty sure i had been going in the little strand before the one on the needle and accidentally adding one. watching videos to see what it should look like helps, and just practice will help you get the hang of how the stitches are made. also i recommend shorter needles, the long ones i hate so much, i love circulars or short ones so i don’t have long metal rods banging my elbows. if they’re the only size i have that’s fine, just makes the experience slower and more annoying. also the colors and yarns you chose were really pretty, and i love your art!

i like hardy breads tho! i cant with the ones that are too soft you bite into it and it's melts... that's fine for pastries but not for my toast!

i bought the IGB vintage ink set, and using the IGB modern inker. i also bought a risograph pack and i use the noise brush for the speckled effect!
