If you are among those lucky one, then you may get single seated in M.Tech 1st year even on top floor of the building which becomes too heat and is less ventilated! Because rooms allotment are random in 1st year. In that case, students also apply for change of room. From 2nd year, you get single seated and also the chance to select the room.

Classes r from 8am to 4.30 PM... Meanwhile u hv luch from 1-2pm Classes r flexible...... They may change the Shedule depending upon time availability with faculty. Saturday and Sunday will be off. You will get decent no. of holidays but it will be less as compared to NITs of Northern India.
