Perfect. Any UA-camr that includes the subscription prices for the companies he's reviewing, then I take it for granted he's being paid. Cannot pay attention to shills. Free plugins is where the bullshit normally stops, although, probably still involves kickbacks of some sort.
I’d argue Vital should be in the essentials category. The name is a big clue, it literally is vital to your arsenal. Not to mention it’s super beginner friendly but can become so complex at the same time
My main complaint with Vital (literally just discovered today) is that I work on both Windows and Mac. The Windows version of Vital is a VST and the Mac version is AU, rather than VST3 which is cross compatible. So any time I open a project across different platforms my projects are bricked. This alone means I won't use it again until it's cross-compatible. That being said, it's a great free synth!
@@karimhussein5152i think it means that u put the midi into audio so the free version of 20 mins on ur demo plugin doesn’t run out. It’s a really good tip for expensive plugins, I do that a lot tbh.
I immediately agree with you on having Arturia on the top. I also agree with the Mellotron pick. You can load one shots in there, too. You can edit the channels on the Mellotron plugin and drag one shots right in. On the low, though, I REALLY like UVI. Their synth VSTs are probably the best in my opinion. Their analog emulations are top, top notch. The effects in that Arturia package are excellent. Don't sleep on them. The best effect plugin company has to be Plugin Alliance. There's a good reason Native Instruments made a deal with them.
love vital. you can find lots of free high quality preset packs that are miles better than the stock ones it comes with. also didn't know about deja vu, will be using that from now on.
Good stuff. Nice video. I want to give Soundpaint a shout out. Comes with a nice piano and a bunch of other free off-center instruments. That has user import, so you can make your own instruments to use in the player. You have a bunch of different slots to stack instruments together, or morph one into another. Full effects rack, ADSR, all that stuff. I've bought a handful of instruments for it, as well. Good quality sounds. The reason I recommend it, is I really can get a lot of work done inside the player to tailor my sound. It has helped me to stay a little more focused and not be bouncing around thinking about different plugins for effects.
Highly appreciate all the plugins you explained, but you could have added Serum by Xfer Records, 'cuz its one of the most versatile plugins. (Yeah, you included Vital, a good alternative of Serum)
