I love the focus on Banjo on this video and the long explanation about how he grew from a puppy to a developing pack leader. Not quite yet, but enough to command respect. And the mention of sweet Barney and how Banjo and he bonded as young dogs. Lovely, thank you for taking us down memory lane. I remember when they were born and how Luke was the Nanny on puppy duty. Talking about Barney brought tears in my eyes. So sad how that brave boy met his end, but at least he was given the chance to live his best life on the Farm.
Real life got in the way for a bit and I missed what happened to Barney. He was there and doing well, snuggling with the pack in his night-time jumper, and then when I came back he was gone! I remember them being born like it was yesterday. Remember Luke sleeping out there with them night after night and even Elle slept out there at least one night if memory serves. But seems like Luke stayed because one of the puppies would end up tucked away in a corner and could never find it’s way back and would start crying loudly and Luke would get up and put the puppy back with mom. I can’t remember which one it was. Do any of you Farm family members remember which puppy it was. Sam, I knew you all were never gonna be able to give up these little angels and adopt them out. I’m so glad they stayed. I love them so. I brought a 5 week old GS home and was gonna let her grow and age a few weeks and adopt her out to a good home. I should throw in here that I’m a rescuer. She found a good home; our home. She died 10 days before her 15th bday. I love the breed so much. She was the smartest of all fur children that we’ve ever had. Had never seen another one smarter. She would ride with me on the wave runner. I couldn’t leave the dock without her. She would stand in the well area on one of the sides of the wave runner and of course she loved riding the boat as well. Don’t ever remember her not being in the boat one time when anyone was in our boat. And of course, absolutely LOVED swimming. We couldn’t keep her out of the lake. Matilda, Banjo and Roses bring back so many beautiful memories of our Buffy. I miss her so much and she had a wonderful life and was loved beyond measure!
You sound like a great dog Mum, Amanda. Well done!. My first dog at age 6 was a golden cocker, named Buff/Buffy, due to his superb colouring. I'm now up to about dog number 20, last five being rescues. I was a boxer 'tragic' for many of those years. xx Gail
Banjo is so nurturing. He has so much love to give. It's beautiful to see how this beautiful boy reflects the love and care he receives from the Farm. ❤️❤️
Thank you for this wonderful tribute to the wonderful Banjo. Some of my favorite videos in the past were those early morning drives to the city to pick up the farm dogs and you (Luke) would bring Banjo along as your companion and assistant. I think he adored those special times with you as much as you did with him! Thanks again!
I have fallen even more in love with Banjo..I feel like him and Barney were such kindred spirits together and brought out the cheeky in each other. Banjo & Barney were like mirrors to each other. Old soul comes to mind when I watch Banjo, I feel like he's swimming hard against the current of maturity and finding the best route to take. Thanks for such a delightful Friday afternoon treat! 😍🤩
I think Bango is a mommy’s boy- he is always by Sam’s side or looking back to make sure she is ok. ❤❤❤❤ We love the Shepherds- it’s been a blessing to watch them grow up.
When I read the title I knew right away it was Banjo, I’ll never forget the way he was with the puppies in the puppy program. I feel so much closer to the dogs when you do these videos…and I love them more. Thank You Luke and Sam❣️

This videos was so delightful to watch, I love Banjo, we all do. Most of us remember when Lucy came, then the puppies and now seeing the old footage, we see how big the pups AND the children have got.
I absolutely LOVED THIS and the introduction is spot on. It was so fun to listen about our beautiful boy Banjo and his 10% cheeky side. I remember when they were born. One day, I can definitely see him being a very high-ranking dog. I caught my breath, seeing sweet boy Barney running like the wind. Bless his heart. Loved Joey, Till till on the table being "cool."😂 Also loved the puppies an some of the dogs so little and young along with the kids. Thanks, Luke/Sam for this great Friday night movie. Have a good wknd, worldwide Farm community. 💜🐶❤️
Unbelievable fun, hearing about the details of Banjo's life on the farm complete with DNA characteristics of the breeds. This indeed makes for a lovely Friday night. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ♥♥♥ And as many others have commented, it's very good to see the two of you looking relaxed and enjoying this chat, and each other. Lots of love from my tiny pack (two cats and one canine) to yours.
Banjo is such a beautiful big cuddly boy, what a sweetheart, I love the way he loves to smooch with everyone 💖💖 Many years ago I had german shepherd, he was almost all black, he was very big and just an all around goofy smoocher that loved to get up on my lap, his name was Beau ❤❤❤
I just loved seeing the doggos showing their, 'I love my mom!' attention to Sam! --This feature on Banjo is SSOOO interesting and enjoyable. I cant wait to see features on all of the pack!
Seems like just yesterday that these 3 munchkins were born at The Farm. What a lovely video starring sweet Banjo! He's so grown up but I still see that puppy when I look at him. What a lovely boy!
🥰🤗🥰 Sweet, beautiful, cheeky, baby-grandpa Banjo. Those ears😂, they were the 1st identifier that allowed me to pick him out from his sisters. Those triplets can do no wrong in my eyes🙈😘. They were the beginning of a beautiful foster fail journey. Every minute has been an experience I am grateful to be a part of. Love y'all 💕 P.s. LOVE the new intro.
I’m happily late to go and do the shopping today as I love Banjo so I do have to stay and see this. He’s a big protective boy and is a lover not a fighter. He does have feelings though so he doesn’t like correction. I sorry for Banjo to loose Barney. That is sad. However Miss Red is naughty along with Shadow and he does love to act up with them. He does love his sisters. Thank you for the puppy videos. I really enjoyed them. I had a rescue Doberman and every time my mother in law was away I had the Banjo and Barney problem. He was hard work. Banjo likes to think for himself. I love a dog who smiles. I love seeing them as they grow old and change. Thank you. May you all please take care and stay safe. Louisa. 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🤩🤩🤩
Banjo - the canine version of Luke? Loving, cheeky, robust with kids, the herding streak of cattle dog, nurturing, fun loving, protective of those who need it - yep, Luke in canine form! ❤
I love this focus on each individual. Shows that despite having over 20 pets, each one is individually respected, loved and don’t get lost in the crowd.
What a wonderful reflection of Banjo boy! I love ❤️ the conversation time with you both. I can picture myself just sitting offscreen, petting a doggie, emersed in the reflections. ❤😊 I ❤ The Farm. Thank you, Luke and Sam.
such a good video! so many moments that made me laugh out loud... when sam was talking about being a pushover with the dogs. how banjo would likely not listen to her if luke wasn't there. it makes me think of the story luke told when he was dating sam and they went to the beach, i think, and charlie was off doing charlie things and when ready to go luke asked sam to call charlie back and she said, he comes back when he is ready! push over for sure! i think i got that story right. the video was a while back and we are relying on my memory... lol looks like you are all doing well. the colds are behind you. enjoy your weekend! 💜
Haha you did get it right Sheryl. You couldn’t plan anything for the day. Give or take 2-3 hours. And then as he tore past chasing a lizard you’d jump on him but not before not making eye contact and pretending you were reading some park sign!
A fantastic Friday treat, thank you very much. So interesting to learn more about darling Banjo and his cheeky cattle dog instincts. I'm sure it's very easy for him to eat the soup as he hasn't got far to reach 😂. Thank you Aunty Sam for the new Farm theme intro. The 3 GSD siblings were a lovely addition to the Farm pack. Luckiest pups, foster fails that never knew any other life.I remember their first swims in the dam and pool. Luke thought Banjo had good swim stroke technique. Does anyone else remember Mama Lucy walking over to Banjo and 'telling' him to be gentle with the smaller younger puppies as he played with them? He was so tolerant of them.
I am hearing impaired so I use closed captions when they’re available. I always laugh when Gus is around because the captions translate to Gassy Boy! 😂 This was such a fascinating video about Banjo and the personalities of some of the other dogs, as well. I love listening to you talking about the individual dogs and pack dynamics. I have also been enjoying the shorts that you have started posting. Thanks for everything you do!
I've been watching Adam's daycare videos on you tube. I mention this because Lucy had some abdominal surgery several months ago. I also noticed Conrad had some shaved spots on his side, like he may of got some biopsies done. Thought I should let you know if you wanted to find out if anything might be passed on to the triplets
Thank you Phil I didn’t know this. Really hope they are both ok. Poor Lucy was very much over bred. We have had health tests done on the trio. Rosie’s came back needing more investigation. ❤️

Sounds like she was a great companion
You sound like a great dog Mum, Amanda. Well done!. My first dog at age 6 was a golden cocker, named Buff/Buffy, due to his superb colouring. I'm now up to about dog number 20, last five being rescues. I was a boxer 'tragic' for many of those years. xx Gail
I think the pup you are thinking of is Rosie - she was the smallest pup. Luke was so wonderful taking care of the puppys.
Ohh, thank you Sam, Luke! Hope you are feeling better. Love to have you back 🥰🥰🥰
banjo has always been my favorite of all the farm dogs. i didnt know it was possible to love a dog so much that ive never even met.
I love the spotlight videos! Helps us to get a deeper knowledge of individual personalities. Thank you! Love Banjo!
Banjo is so nurturing. He has so much love to give. It's beautiful to see how this beautiful boy reflects the love and care he receives from the Farm. ❤️❤️
You're exactly living my dreams Thank you guys, I wish your family peace, happiness and long life.
Thanks
Thank you so very much Annie ❤️❤️
Wow! Love, love the intro! Also, love the Banjo video. For those of us who already know the pups, this is a good refresher as well as an update. For our new subscribers, telling each dog's story acquaints them with the pack (both four- and two-legged). Excited to see that today we are almost to 85,000!!!!! Here comes 100,000 and plus. Keep 'em coming.
I find Gus to be an amazing dog. He's beautiful and he's interesting.
The Farm is my "guilty pleasure" and it is wonderful!! I love all the pups & kitties and the wonderful Evans Family! It's so amazing how all the pups/cats get along and love their family. It just makes me happy. So thank you for all that you do for the pups and kitties and sharing your family adventures at The Farm!!! Please subscribe (it's free) and help us get The Farm to 100,000 subscribers, as it would help tremendously!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍
I have such Chopper and Tank envy. They both just look so soft and cuddly. It would be wonderful to spend couch time with both brothers❣️
They seem just like they would be the best to nap with...super cute sleepy guys.🧡🧡They both look like they could fall asleep where they're standing at any given moment.

Loved Joey, Till till on the table being "cool."😂
Also loved the puppies an some of the dogs so little and young along with the kids.
Thanks, Luke/Sam for this great Friday night movie.
Have a good wknd, worldwide Farm community.
💜🐶❤️
Agree 💯 🥰🏜🌞😎🌵👍👋
Oh Banjo you beautiful nature boy..just love him..❤❤❤
I love Banjo and his sisters. They are all living their best lives at the farm.
I can listen to this couple talk all day!! And talking about animals makes it even better 😊❤
Will always remember the awesome Uncle Banjo with the chaos and humor of the puppies. Special boy❤
Loved watching the Shepherds grow up. ❤❤❤ These videos will be like getting to know the pack all over again. Great video Sam!
Thank you Gayle ❤️
Same here, Gayle, from another Gail!
Que Jeová abençoe vocês sempre . vocês são felizes por cuidar de seus pety e eu amo quem fazem isso 🇧🇷🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️
God bless you
Fantastic family
Kiss from Italy
Banjo is such a beautiful big cuddly boy, what a sweetheart, I love the way he loves to smooch with everyone 💖💖 Many years ago I had german shepherd, he was almost all black, he was very big and just an all around goofy smoocher that loved to get up on my lap, his name was Beau ❤❤❤
What a lovely story for a beautiful dog… I remembered when they were born & thought how gorgeous they were…
Thanks guys for this video 🩵
Какая счастливая семья в окружении своих земных ангелов ,так выглядит. Эдэм нашего сумасшедшиего века. ....❤удачи вам и здоровья ❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, so true 👍
I will always see Banjo as the Nanny. I remember how patient and caring he was with Miss Violet and Miss Red. ❤
I just loved seeing the doggos showing their, 'I love my mom!' attention to Sam! --This feature on Banjo is SSOOO interesting and enjoyable. I cant wait to see features on all of the pack!
All three shepherds have eyes of love!❤
The most beautiful eyes.❤
They sure do ❤❤❤
Seems like just yesterday that these 3 munchkins were born at The Farm.
Love y'all 💕
I remember how the Staffy sisters would be cold out in the rain so they’d cuddle up with Banjo or his sisters.
Nothing better than seeing how you two interact. Making each other laugh is so fun to watch. Love the”talking” videos. Oh heck, I love them all!❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the video essay on Banjo, it really helps to understand the cast of characters that is your dog pack ❤❤❤
Thank you! Loved this♥️♥️♥️. Loved hearing stories of Banjo and Barney.
Love Banjo and his sisters 🥰💖🥰
what a lovely couple, and thank you to take care of the beautiful dogs and kids😍
Banjo - the canine version of Luke? Loving, cheeky, robust with kids, the herding streak of cattle dog, nurturing, fun loving, protective of those who need it - yep, Luke in canine form! ❤
I think, Luke will be pleased to see your comment!
I love this focus on each individual. Shows that despite having over 20 pets, each one is individually respected, loved and don’t get lost in the crowd.
Love ya, BBB (Big Boy Banjo) ❤
What a wonderful reflection of Banjo boy! I love ❤️ the conversation time with you both. I can picture myself just sitting offscreen, petting a doggie, emersed in the reflections. ❤😊 I ❤ The Farm. Thank you, Luke and Sam.
I love hearing about Banjo! ❤
I loved watching Fredo in background in water pushing his ball around.
such a good video!
so many moments that made me laugh out loud... when sam was talking about being a pushover with the dogs. how banjo would likely not listen to her if luke wasn't there. it makes me think of the story luke told when he was dating sam and they went to the beach, i think, and charlie was off doing charlie things and when ready to go luke asked sam to call charlie back and she said, he comes back when he is ready! push over for sure!
i think i got that story right. the video was a while back and we are relying on my memory... lol
looks like you are all doing well. the colds are behind you.
enjoy your weekend!
💜
Haha you did get it right Sheryl. You couldn’t plan anything for the day. Give or take 2-3 hours. And then as he tore past chasing a lizard you’d jump on him but not before not making eye contact and pretending you were reading some park sign!
I love this talk! Banjo a beautiful boy ❤
Merci pour les animaux ce sont des gens comme vous qui faites la différence.
You all work so hard to give the dogs, the kids and us the best. ❤❤❤❤❤
I know this video was about Banjo, but couldn't take my eyes of Joey, she's so smoochy, love her. ❤
I am so happy for you that all of you are feeling much better.
I remember when Miss Violet and Miss Red were small and the weather was bad Miss Red was always curling up against Banjo for warmth, not sure where Miss Violet was a lot of the time but Banjo always seemed to be babaysitting the girls or the other litters. I LOVE you TIlly!!!
What a great idea! Creating individual videos introducing each member of your awesome pack. Banjo is a beautiful, sweet dog!
Thank you darlings.....Bango is a beautiful soul and I love him and his sisters, big time....
Blessings darlings from Granny Linda
I lost my beautiful German Shepherd two years ago. At 76 years old I don't have the strength to get another one and do the training, etc. i really enjoy watching your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Ooohhhh, lovely Banjo boy! Haven't got time now - have to go and let the cat in and go to sleep, it's late. Save it for tomorrow. Love to you all xx
FABULOUS VIDEO!!!..and i LOVE that JOEY photobombed the whole thing❤❤❤❤
I think Banjo will become a great Freddo, one day. ❤ ( a long time from now) You'll never know just how much you have done for me. Pretty much saved me... like so many others, that struggle/struggled.
Thank you, ❤️ USAF sister veteran Malinois Mom 😊 kiss Abra 💋 lol
I know I've said it before but I do love these videos talking about each individual pup. 😊
Loved that chat about the beautiful Banjo. So interesting. I've learnt so much about dogs since finding your videos during COVID. I love them all. They all have a piece of my heart. Thank you. I'm a better dog owner.
❤❤❤❤❤
What’s so sweet about Banjo is that all the puppies and KittyRose knows he’s nurturing behavior and he’s the farms cuddle buddy ❤
Bravo!!! That was excellent!!! More please!! When ppl start learning the pack, they'll be hooked. I was years ago. During lockdown. You've added such richness to my life!!! I'm enchanted! 👏👏👏👏❤
Great profile of Banjo. Lots of tidbits. Had no idea that Barney and Banjo were best buds. I've followed Banjo since his parents arrived at the Farm!
This was such a fascinating video about Banjo and the personalities of some of the other dogs, as well.
👍♥️🐾 Sending prayers and well wishes. I watch their videos also and noticed Lucy and Conrad’s shaved areas.
Thank you for mentioning this to Sam & Luke 👍

Just loved this chat so very much..its so lovely to see the early pics of the pups and to hear their story again..even though I have seen it it's so beautiful to re live and then to hear more about their personalities..Banjo is such a beautiful soul..look forward to more sessions about each of the doggies and Dingo oh..and kitties 😸 good to see you are feeling a little better as well..love to you all 💜🙏
Thanks for a great video. I do want to comment that I felt sorry for Gussy in the background being mercilessly attacked by flies. Hope everyone is feeling much better. ❤❤🙏🙏🐾🐾🌴🌴
The March flies are relentless at the moment 😬
Hope Marchfly season isn't too much longer.❤❤🙏🙏
Ahh yes Gussy was having a right moment with the March flies, then poor Joey came to have a look at soon worked out what was going on. 🐶🙏
Love Banjo and his lovely way of dealing with every other do!
Wow eso es vida buena . Very Goodyear. Bellooooo beautifull. F😢rom P. R.❤❤❤❤😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
What a darling boy is our Banjo! He’s a great ambassador for the Farm 🩷
