- This video is about my tour to Simlipal Tiger Reserve. I stayed there in Kumari Machan and Baherpani Cottage. We went to Baherpani Water Fall, Gurguria, and Chahela animal sighting point.

How are the roads inside the forest? Are they wide enough for cars like XUV/Harrier?
Yes they are wide enough for any four wheeler
Can we cook or take food with us
You can certainly take food with you...

Kumari me bamboo cottages bamboo machan same? Or different? online mein bamboo hut 3000/- showing? These rooms r good?
Bamboo cottage is different from machan. The rooms, whether santhal hut or bamboo hut or machan, are good at Kumari. The only problem is mosquitoes.

I want to know from you that where is the exist point if I enter via Pithabata for covering Lulung river point, Juranda Falls, Berehipani Falls, Gudgudia, Chahala .How long will the journey take from Pithabata entry gate ?(probably)
Exit point is from chahala in the evening time so that u can see animals...The whole journey will take around 6 hrs.
Can I move to Kolkata-Mumbai national high way from Chahala exit point.I shall be very glad if you know the exact route details.
@@kishorebhunia9709 the exit point near chahala is called brundavan. You have a single road to go so there will be no issue of asking for directions. After around an hour ride, you will get a barrier here you will be asked to submit the paper which you had been given when entering the forest. From here ask someone for direction of the kolkata mumbai highway. You will catch the higher within some minutes.

From jamshedpur rairangpur side the road is very good
How is Ramtirtha for staying? Is it crowded?
No it is not crowded. But it is outside forest. It is very near the town, so you won't experience a secluded place. Ramtirtha has crocodile breeding centre. So you will have a lot of crocodiles to see.

Could you please help me with an information. Are there jeep or other SUV vehicles available for hire near Baripada bus station which can stay with us for two days for safari purpose? And how long would it take to reach Gurguria forest guest house from Baripada and Balasore?
Yes, you will easily find SUV at baripada entrance of the jungle. It will take around 4 hrs to reach gurguria from baripada side.
@@DreamIAS thank you so much for your prompt reply. I am reaching Baripada from Kolkata by bus at around 3 in the morning, with aged parents. Hence was concerned. SUV's will be available that early in the morning from the bus stand? Or we would have to wait till the morning?
@@arkobanerjee009 some year back I reached baripada gate at around 10 a.m. I was in nano so they didn't allow. I found some SUVs standing there. When I enquired the staffs they said that many SUVs are generally waiting there for passenger. I am pretty sure you would find there some SUV easily after the gates open at around 7.00 a.m. Before this time you won't be allowed to enter forest.
I am giving you number of a driver from jasipur. Once I visited the forest in his bolero from jasipur side.

Gurguria is very near to Kumari. Yes you can stay there. Here, there is a pine orchard and some shops who sell local products.

Thanks for the detailed information, only one thing please let me know if the fooding is also included in the price of the cottage or we have to pay for it separately.. What kind of food can we get , veg or non veg ?
Fooding is included in the booking. You will have the option of taking veg. Or non veg. They will even provide you tea on demand without any charge. In short you will have no expenses inside the forest

@@ritzdas8164 from bare pani cottage it is around 5 k.m. barepani waterfall is the only place in the forest where there is mobile network.please ask guard at waterfall for exact point where you will get network
Excellent descriptions. Thank you sir. I am going on 22nd Dec and will stay at Simlipal Nature camp, Jamuani. How is it.. any idea ?
Jamuani is located just outside the exit gate, Brundavan, of the reserve. You can walk to see animals at chahala. Also, you will be able to see many colourful birds near exit point. (Go towards baherpani 1km from Brundavan to see birds). Happy journey.👍

@@rupashreeroy3570 I didn't stay at Jamuani which is near exit point of forest. It is after the exit gate. So if you stay there you won't be able to bring your vehicle inside. You will have to come walking around a k.m. to enter through exit point. And you will have to walk around 3km to go to chahala which is animal sight seeing point. My recommendation for stay is barepani. If you don't do this, you may stay at kumari, but please keep your own arrangements for mosquitos.

No chance for these animals ...
You will see deers at chahala if you go in the evening.

@@reyanchakravorty1800 there are two exit points for simalipal one is brundavan and the other is baripada. There is a place called chahala near brundaban which is used for animal sight seeing.
Animal are more likely to be seen in morning and evening.

@@reyanchakravorty1800 monkey and deer can be seen. If lucky you may find large squirrel. Apart from this I don't think you will find any animal.
A large variety of bird can be seen 1k.m from brundavan towards barepani.
If you are interested in animals kuldiha near baripada is better place... You are Lilley to see elephants and bison there
From where to enter simlipal if i book the baheripani nature camp? Jashipur or Pithabata
Please enter from jasipur. You may choose to exit from pitabhata. This way you cross the whole forest. Barepani is almost at the centre of these points.

@@arghyamitra3322 it took me around 3hrs from Jashipur. So I think around same duration or a little bit lesser will be needed from pithabata also. The forest is littered with villages, and there are a lot of signboards, so I don't see any need for any guide. If even then you feel taking one, please consult the boys in the nature camp. They all are locals, they may help.
@@DreamIAS I own a S-presso. It has 180mm ground clearance. So is this car allowed inside the forest and what is the charges for car entry?
@@arghyamitra3322 they require 180 mm ground clearance. So, your vehicle will be allowed inside. I don't remember the fee for entry of vehicle, but it was nominal.
