You can check out my Astrobin for recent results the last 6 or 7 images are all this scope with very little data. www.astrobin.com/users/cratervanawesome/
It's much better now. I've moved to a poured concrete pier. It's very stable. Goes below the frost line in the ground and is flared out at the very bottom. For extra stability and earth grabbing. This was a temporary setup.
@@jesuschrist2284 It was actually very stable. The concrete blocks were Connected with construction adhesive and the bottom was an extra wide paver secured the same way. Used it that way for about 6 months. I'll try and get a video together on the pier but here's a photo gallery of the process and finished results. photos.app.goo.gl/EF9XZ6Dianvhe1638
Now i am waiting for pictures ❤. Thank you for setup and unboxing
I'm waiting anxiously too! Been a pretty warm winter here in Eastern Idaho but lots of clouds and actually snow most nights this week.
@@cratervanawesome let's wait for clear sky then
Thank you for a brief introduction, can't wait to see the subs on a 2.4μ pixels!
Thank you for watching!
You are getting a sub my dude! I have been waiting for someone to drop a vid on this badboy. Its gorgeous...
Thanks. It looks like I might get first light tonight but we'll see how things go. Was snowing like 6 hours ago.
First video on UA-cam doing a setup on it!
How is this scope compared to a redcat 51? Thanks
I don't personally have a Redcat to compare results, but spec and feature wise its much better. Faster, slightly narrower FOV. Better optics.

That observatory!
Thank you! It's still pretty new. Has a bit of a ghetto setup now to get the height for the mount. Will be pouring proper pier come spring.
That set up seems sketchy af
