Such a great tune as a standard to jam over, musicians really need to adapt this. I was previously only familiar with the "Travels"" version which has a bit more of an orchestral feel but when it comes right down to it, most of Metheny tunes can (and should) be made into jamable standards... This performance is off the charts.
it's really a pitty, what a bad sound technican can do: new heard Brecker sound so bad... anyway albeit the the soundtechnican was bad, Brecker sounds still a lot better than many other saxophoneplayers... I miss his creative and high energy playing
Muito obrigado pelo trabalhos do Pet que tem mi proporcionado . Obrigado, obrigado obrigado. Quero .mais. Abraço forte
OMG, this organ solo sweeps me away!
my all-time favourite metheny composition. Great playing throughout. Brecker's soloing at the end - although short - kills me!
