I have a story:
One time in class one of my friends was telling us a story of a haunted doll. The Story was:
a homeless man gives this girl a doll. She spent all her time that night with this doll until the little girl got up to go eat dinner. She left her in her room. As she was walking, she heard something behind her. She turned around to see her doll standing up in the hallway a few steps behind her, as if it was following her. She called her mom and showed her but she didn’t believe her. Later that night, she had set the doll in her dollhouse sitting on her bed. She woke up later that night, and saw her doll standing in front of her holding a knife. She screamed and her mom jumped from her bed and ran to her room holding a bat. But it was too late. The girl was dead on her bed with the doll next to her, splattered in blood. Nobody ever heard from the mom or daughter again.
It’s not that bad of a story, and if it was told to me now, it would just be dumb but, being in grade 4 at the time, I was scared to death. I had a doll like the one in the story. I immediately stored her away in the closet. The girl who told me that story also introduced me to this song. I got nightmares for months.
To this day I’m still terrified of dolls.
(This also the first time listening to this song since it gave me my nightmares)
