- Based on Hanna Sandvig’s “The Glass Gate” book, Maru Exposito animation studio imagined how the main scenes would work as a trailer!
!! Animatic = Watching an animatic is like watching an animated movie, but in the draft stage. It takes the static storyboard's drawings and adds them in a video where each scene follows the timing and simple camera movements the final video is intended to have. However, since this video is intended to work as a final trailer, we added some extras not usual for animatics (you'll see!).

It's cute. Obviously since it's based on a book I know you can't control the story, but I think it would be greatly improved if the female protagonist actually already had a crush on him and then the magic "no-lying" artifact forced her to confess. (I've only seen this animatic so I am guessing at the details, but I picked up from this animatic that the artifact seemed to force them both to tell the truth)
And I think that the female protagonist should have just told 100% the truth--like, "I already like you. But it's not anything like true love--it's just infatuation--no...I mean...I just admire who you are as a person. BUT I would never ever act on my feelings. I'm not that type of person. I guess I don't know what that says about me...but you don't have to worry."
Something along those lines. I just think that would be a much more interesting take.
